  1. Thanks guys , was looking for some kind of solution to get rid of thos vibrations in my grips , did the carbs but still had problems whit the vibes causing me some dangerous situations where my hands go numb. tried to get some info on that liquid snake product but did not get any return on email , so went on and searched for some kind of product that would cut these vibrations , well found something , 2.99$ a tube take's two and about 20 min to inject slowly into handlebars .Been doing some driving and it help's a lot .
  2. Hi Brad , I hope your having a great time in texas ,hope you like your new home .Shure hope both of you are loving it . As for me dont worry it's not so bad I'm having a lot of problems whit my right wrist ( severe arthrosis )and knee .The knee is not so bad and the doc said when it gets worst they can operate that's the result of working whit vibrating tools for 30 years. The knee is from chasing cars in an auto plant (production line ) .Didn't do much riding last summer due to the pain .Riding is getting dangerous I loose control of my right hand .So took last summer to think about it and came to the conclusion that before both of us get hurt I'm going to sell the bike and find something else to do like maybe buying a convertible so we can ride and feel the wind ,,,LOL .Beside that life is good in our new house ,Suzie and me wish you both the best.
  3. I know this ad will only concern Canadian members .Due to health problems,I have to sell the bike .So for those of you that might be interested . http://www.lespac.com/detail.php?nivdet=5&a=20669390&provenanceprg=menudet
  4. bad wire under the passenger seat ,I wiggled it a bit and everything was ok probably a bad pin or loose connect so have to get a new one just in case this one let's go again .
  5. well found the prob , fixed , now she's going to be able to nag on the road
  6. I did the test , my helmet and hers plugged in the rear have the same results ,no mic you can hear the driver but not the other way around . I'm going to remove the rear seat again and start my testing at the connector under the seat to see if the wire is damaged . For my part I dont mind I can talk to her but cant hear her ,I can listen to my music ,,,,,,,, LOL.
  7. Just need to know were to look ,,driver's helmet connection is ok ,I can talk to my passenger ,use the CB and listen to music no prob .The passenger helmet ,my wife can hear me but can't use the mic I just changed her cable to helmet .I took the rear seat of and checked all the connections got them cleaned ans sealed them whit a shrink tube .now the only thing for me to do is to take the fairing a part , but I would like to know if there is anything else I need to check first.
