1. I would like for those of you who use the chat rooms to give me an evaluation of the two solutions that I have installed at this time. The old one is pretty slick and has some nice features but doesn't work from all devices. The new one isn't as slick but seems to work just as well and is easier to get into and out of I think. It will be your call. If you choose the new one called "Shoutbox" at the top of the page then I will update it to the pro version. That won't make it any slicker looking but will add a few features such as allowing you to detach and run it in a separate window, turn the notification sounds on or off, things like that. Like I said, it is your call. From a money stand point, it's not a big deal. I would have to pay for the pro version of the new one but I also pay a yearly hosting fee separately for the old one so for the short term at least, it's pretty much a wash. So lets hear it. What do you want? The other option is that I could keep both but not upgrade the new one to the pro version. Just leave it as it is. I really don't think that we need two chat rooms though.
2. HOW TO SHOWER LIKE A WOMAN: Take off clothing and place it in sectioned laundry hamper according to lights and darks. Walk to bathroom wearing long robe. If you see husband along the way, cover up any exposed areas. Look at your womanly physique in the mirror -- make mental note to do more sit-ups/leg-lifts, etc. Get ...in the shower. Use wash cloth , long loofah, wide loofah and pumice stone...... Wash your hair once with cucumber and sage shampoo with 43 added vitamins. Wash your hair again to make sure it's clean. Condition your hair with grapefruit mint conditioner. Wash your face with crushed apricot facial scrub for 10 minutes until red. Wash entire rest of body with ginger nut and jaffa cake body wash. Rinse conditioner off hair. Shave armpits and legs. Rinse off. Turn off shower. Squeegee off all wet surfaces in shower. Spray mold spots with Tilex.. Get out of shower. Dry with towel the size of a small country. Wrap hair in super absorbent towel. Return to bedroom wearing long robe and towel on head. If you see husband along the way, cover up any exposed areas. HOW TO SHOWER LIKE A MAN: Take off clothes while sitting on the edge of the bed and leave them in a pile. Walk naked to the bathroom. If you see wife along the way, shake wiener at her making the woo-woo sound. Look at your manly physique in the mirror. Admire the size of your wiener and scratch your butt. Get in the shower. Wash your face. Wash your armpits. Blow your nose in your hands and let the water rinse them off. Fart and laugh at how loud it sounds in the shower. Spend majority of time washing privates and surrounding area. Wash your butt, leaving those coarse butt hairs stuck on the soap. Wash your hair. Make a Shampoo Mohawk. Pee. Rinse off and get out of shower. Partially dry off. Fail to notice the water on floor because curtain was hanging out of tub the whole time. Admire wiener size in mirror again. Leave shower curtain open, wet mat on floor, and light and fan on. Return to bedroom with towel around waist. If you pass wife, pull off towel, shake wiener at her and make the woo-woo sound again. Throw wet towel on bed. If there is anyone who did not laugh at the truth behind this, there is something SO very wrong with you.
3. My 08 venture, when ever I ride in the rain or wash my bike the right rear cilinder stops firing. blow off the cap & around the plug & it starts fireing again. I have checked the drain hole it is open so that is not it.what else ? I am thinking that the rubber on the cap is not sealing. so I put some grease in the cap & put silacone around all the places where the wires and ruber boots splice. Havent tryed to wash it sence. the silacone isn't dry yet. so dont know if it helped yet. thank you for your input!!!

6. Last night I had a hard time falling asleep. No idea why. And I was up a few times during the night which is also not normal for me. This morning I got woke up early feeling really cold and clammy. While lying in that half awake state trying to figure out just what was going on, is when I noticed that everything around me was soaked. The sheets, blanket, pillow, everything. So now I am trying to figure out if I just had night sweats or heaven forbid, did I wet the bed..... Well that thought got me out of the half awake state and into a get the heck out of the bed quick state and head for the shower. But wait no that would be a bad idea since I still need to strip all up the bedding and get it down in the wash. I should do that BEFORE I take a shower. In case you haven't figured it out yet, I am not a morning person, just because my body is up and moving does not mean that my brain is up and/or functioning. So I run all of the bedding down to the basement and toss the first load into the wash machine (with no phones included,,,,,sorry:stickpoke:) well now the wash machine is filling so I certainly do not want to get in the shower with the hot water turning on and off. So I grab some cleaning stuff to clean up the mattress. First I dried if off as best I could with some towels and took those down to the basement. when I got back up stairs and was about to start scrubbing the mattress, its like WTF it is all wet again. so I grab some more towels and dry it off again. and this time just start to clean it right away. WTF again there is a little squirt of liquid that shoots up out of the mattress toward the headboard. That is when it finally dawns on me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, tonight I get to go shopping for a new king size waterbed mattress to replace this 34 year old one....... It sure is a good thing that Erika is still not home with her bum foot yet. We would have been accusing each other of wetting the bed, and that old water on her bum foot would have been really bad news.
7. One day, a housework challenged husband decided , to wash his sweatshirt.. Soon after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to his wife, "What setting do I use on the washing machine?" "It depends," she replied, "what does it say on your shirt?? " He yelled back, "GO BEARS " She replied —"Use hot water, a box of Tide, and four cups of bleach ". GO PACKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
8. I have a friend that has only lived in PA for a little over a year. He likes to tell stories sometimes. This past weekend he told me that in PA if you get a flat tire on your car or truck, you have to call a Tow Truck. He says that you are not allowed to change your own tire alongside the road. Then he tells me that you aren't allowed to wash your car at your own house. He said he got a ticket for washing his car in his driveway before work. He said if you want your car cleaned, you have to take it to a car wash. This all sounds ridiculous, but there ARE some strange laws out there. So, was he telling me a story?
9. Mr Clean Auto Dry Car wash is absolutely wonderful , I have to admit that I was very skeptical about this product, I give it a 10 out of 10 (Awesome) First of all our water here in Iowa is extremely hard and you folks know what happens to chrome and the paint job if your not fast enough in drying, I have even tried using the soft-water out of the tap in the laundry room. even that will dry with salt left over. our water should be at about 3 grains PPM but it is around 55 Grains PPM Having said all that. I proceeded to wash my trike today and she turned out wonderful , just walk away and it will dry with no spots. but I could not help myself and had to try and dry it. what I liked is that you have till the end of time to wipe the chrome and plastic parts down with no spotting. I was so excited that I walked over and washed both our Cars as well. Guess what? NO HARD WATER SPOTS. simply walk away from the car. My other experiment that I have found and still need to try, is that you mix up a 1/2 cup of BORAX 20 Mule Team to 5 Gals of warm water and place your pressure washer siphon into the bucket, and rinse the car or bike with that. I am told that works very well also. The refiles for Mr Clean Auto Dry Car wash are kinda pricey. this item can be purchased at Walmart when in season and Target Stores and of course on-line. that is how I got mine. also do a a search and read the reviews, I think some do not follow the directions. it has its own soap as well. Just keep turning the dial. Just wanted to share this with you folks. Jeff
10. While adding insulation to my attic I found an old U.S. flag (48 stars). It's filthy and has many holes in it. While I'd like to keep it (it looks pretty interesting) it'd definitely have to be washed. Is it permissible to wash it (by hand, the machine would undoubtedly finish it off) or should I just burn it? Thanks for your input.

12. Can anyone recommend a good cleaner in a can? There are times that I just do not have the time to wash the bike.....how about what to clean the windshield with? Thanks in advance for the feedback!
13. Does any one use that stuff. Talked to people that use it and they like it. I would think it would just rub the dust into the paint and scratch it. I like to use water and rince the bike off. I still use small amount of mild dish soap to wash my bike.
14. Well, Flowers are blooming, temperature tomorrow should reach 60 and there is a place to ride. So, first things first, wash off the winter crud.
15. took this hunk of dirt to the carwash this morning and low and behold there was a vstar under there. first wash since last year. i forgot what it was.
16. yesterday. I have a Suzuki Boulevard cruiser, so the Venture is taking a little get use to, as to be expected. I have seen a few posts on here about Avon tires, do tires really make that big a difference in handling? Slow speed manuvering? By the way, love the bike. Can't wait to get home and wash it. The dealer did a lousy job cleaning it yesterday. Also, is there anything I should watch out for or be aware of related to the Venture?
17. So far I have learned to use pledge for "waxing, polishing" to save time, I will try that one.. My cruiser used to take me 1-2 hours to wash and dry, about 1-2 hours to wax/buff/polish, then a whopping 4 hours to do the chrome with Mothers metal polish... Wax and chrome done on separate days.. Too much work..!! 8 hours possible for a complete wash and detail..!! Now I will be washing the Venture, and drying it with my LEAF BLOWER....this works amazingly well (total time 30 min). Then I will try the pledge trick for all surfaces, guessing at 30 min's for this.. So my new total time for a complete wash and detail will be 1 hr...Can't wait for spring to try this now...
