Do we have to tell the ladies..It may overload the server. :rotf::rotf:

Never tried it. But its going to be difficult at best. 18 pin lead and probably a shielded cable. You'll wind up with a ugly ball if you cut and splice
-
Take it to 80 in third and you just starting to wind up that engine.

Double check all the round audio connectors in the fairing and under the seat to be sure you haven't crossed any. -
Good luck with the treatments Don. We continue to pray for you. We'll try not to burn the place down while you gone.

Fuel level warning light

Musta been a brainfart....:rotf: that's a great handle.. Now your gonna get blamed for eveything:rotf: -
Also check the hoses. If you get a 5 way vac splitter and connect one to the bike and 4 to the carbtune they should all read the same Since its only 1 vac source. A 5 way spliiter is fairly cheap. Or a 3 way and a 2 way connected together ( so you wind up with 5 inputs)That's what I do to calibrate it. Found it was dirty once. Cleaned it and it was fine afterwards.

Bout time you got rid of that first gen....

Same size as the lower wind vents from Yamaha, yes. I copied mine which should be the same as everybody else's. These are the ones. I am making the replacement lexan part. http://www.ronayers.com/catalogs/yahacc/parts.cfm?secid=10&type=310 The originals will begin to crack at the bolt holes. My old ones were nearly all the way across when I decided it was time to replace them and I wasn't going to spend another 150 for the whole setup. Same size and shape.. But don't use a micrometer to measure them..

To keep the wind off your knees ? Yea, I need to find the material. I'll PM you when I have a set done. Same price. They attach with velcro to the underside of the lowers and push the air up and out. I was using them when it was cold and kept all the air off my knees.

Something doesn't feel right......
BuddyRich replied to Orange-65's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Unless your doin 80 you don't need to be in 5th. And if you in 4th under 55 its luggin the engine. You can take 3rd to 80. These are V4's and need higher rpm's to perform. -
The only place I know is to buy the whole set. Never tried to buy just the mounts. The lowers crack after a while so hence the need for replacements http://www.ronayers.com/catalogs/yahacc/parts.cfm?secid=10&type=310
