  1. My eyes, My eyes, Or is it My ears, My ears. Such language Yea use a air compressor and blow air up under them
  2. Yea, But then the passenger can't hear anything going on from the Zumo, like the mp3 player or directions or XM radio or your phone conversation.
  3. I have called work doing 70 and they didn't even know I was on the bike. Just using the basic J&M headset. At that speed I cup my hand over the mic cause I caught myself yelling into it and going horse while trying to talk over all the wind noise I am hearing (with my ears ,not thru the headsets). The person on the other end had no idea i was even on a bike.
  4. Been thru there a bunch of times on the bike. Its a nice ride. Can get a little chilly at night near the top. Wood peck wont eat much. Don't let the bears in though. They eat EVERYTHING...Including RV's
  5. Anybody that wants a cable can PM me. I had to raise the price to 40 this year because parts price increase. The ones for a 1st gen will be 43. Its got to have more parts.
  6. You stopped smoking the peyote didn't you .... That'll fix it everytime:doh: :rotf:
  7. Just replace the crappy rubber lense with red plexiglass. The LEds are plenty bright enough like that. I did and they they are fine. They are red in color anyway
  8. Duh, the Ferrari is suppose to be on top..
  9. Just do a "search members" and then click on Advanced and fill out only the state You can also click on the State/Province label under "Members List"
  10. Yea, KBB on a 96 century is 2100. \
  11. After all that I have read here I certainly will not consider Progressive. Maybe they outta take "word of mouth" advertising seriously. Its much stronger than any TV commercial.
  12. Actually Bulbs are suppose to be made the same. So you don't have to readjust your headlights after changing a bulb. I've never had to readjust the up/down setting on my bike or cars after changing to Piaa or Silverstar bulbs .I would double check to see that its seated properly.
  13. Bryan, What's thats red and white thing in the background ? A 67 gto conv ?
  14. :rotf: Both those pass's have area's with steep walls on each side and the snow gets 20ft deep so they would just be blowing it up on the walls and it would slide back down on them:rotf:
  15. Sonora Pass (108) is still closed too. I'd take the 88. Take 88 to 49 to the 120. That'll take you thru Jamestown and a few other Goldrush cities
  16. Yea, Your a couple of weeks early. Head back and take the 88 if your tryin to get into CA. Its a nice drive. It'll dump you out near the west entrance to the Yo. It was open about a month ago cause I used it to get from Gardnerville to Stockton. Oh yea, Just put the number in to check the route http://www.dot.ca.gov/
  17. You need a GARAGE SALE ...:rotf:
  18. Your alternator whine should be changing with RPM at any speed. It may not be an alternator whine at all. If it is triggered by speed it will do you no good to measure anything with a VOM sitting still.
  19. Hey, His software keeps me employed. A LOT :rotf:
  20. It really is very easy to change the brakes on these bikes. That's why I would never go easy on any set of brakes. The bike must braked properly to maintain control. Don't ever favor one set of brakes over the other just because your afraid of wearing them out. Loss of control is a lot worse than scratching up a rotor or replacing pads.
  21. Something that's going to make a difference is "How tall the Rider is". Windshield height is going to have a different effect between short, average and tall riders because their helmet is going to be in a different position in the wind stream.
  22. DON'T TRY TO GAP them. They come from the factory gapped.
  23. Yes ,they are shaped the same as the Yamaha accessories ones
  24. I heard that Jim, with Jude on its all I can do to maintain a level position at a stop light. I'd compare the costs and power then decide. You adding a lot of weight with the trike kit. Then there's the warranty issue on a self conversion.
  25. Can you hear in the riders headset if the passenger talks ? Is the volume turned all the way up on the passengers armrest ? Is the Chatterbox headset a 5 pin and are the pin outs the same ?
