  1. Have you got your IC turned up. Mine is picking up noise from the plug wires. I need to reroute the wires. Turning your IC all the way down may help
  2. Turn the volume of the zumo all the way up. There's 3 volume setting in the Zumo.
  3. I had one and sold it. Its a hard seat. They will allow you to return it with in 48 hours if you don't like it. But check their site. I think Rick Butler is still doing seat mods on pillow top seats.
  4. I always use my dept card. It always charges the exact amount to my bank. Sometimes I see a 1 dollar on there but it disappears as soon as the real amount hits. That's at major stations in about 10 states I travel thru on a yearly basis. Don't know what the little ma & pa stores do. I generally try to use normal fuel stations.
  5. I think you may be heading for a ticket. There is a difference between a strobe flash and modulating a headlight. Here's the way it reads. If you get a ticket you'll lose. You'll notice it does not say anything about a flash of a secondary bulb and that it states the LO or HI beam which would be the bulb in the system S7.9.4 Motorcycle headlamp modulation system. S7.9.4.1 A headlamp on a motorcycle may be wired to modulate either the upper beam or the lower beam from its maximum intensity to a lesser intensity, provided that: (a) The rate of modulation shall be 240 40 cycles per minute. (b) The headlamp shall be operated at maximum power for 50 to 70 percent of each cycle. © The lowest intensity at any test point shall be not less than 17 percent of the maximum intensity measured at the same point. (d) The modulator switch shall be wired in the power lead of the beam filament being modulated and not in the ground side of the circuit. (e) Means shall be provided so that both the lower beam and upper beam remain operable in the event of a modulator failure.
  6. I just spray it with Axe and call it a day. Don't let anybody wear my helmet anyway. That's kinda like lettin somebody wear your underwear and then puttin it back on...
  7. Probably be more after you flip the switch. I would setup a tease to get them to join, you know let them read only the first few lines of a thread or tech section and then at the bottom have the join button
  8. Well, PETA is probably after you now. Birds and other critters droppin from the sky Some women I know want your head... Jude said something about "He's gonna be pushin up the pedals". The USAF is trying to figure out what left the sound print in WV in the middle of the day and nothing flyin. That's a sight that had to be a case of Double Ugly....
  9. The little red lite is pointing at your right thumb wanting you to look in that direction.
  10. May want to try bypassing the Ign switch ? Hotwire it and see if its all right.
  11. I would really check the kill switch. If I remember right that is the light that comes on when you forget to turn the kill switch to the run position
  12. I did it by accident a couple of times. It was always in 2nd and lane splitting. Good ole road rage.... I just wonder what that rider of that goldwing thought he was goona do with that leg if the bike decide to go down. Pushin a 250 lb dirt bike back up ain't the same as pushing back up over 900 lbs. Problem is the foot always gets run over by the saddlebag or rear crash bar. Thought I broke my foot the last time I had to push it back up due to the rear sliding out.
  13. There are fuses inside the right lower fairing. It may be there. What ever size is in it I would not go over. A melted wiring harness ain't no fun
  14. If you have the whine changing the oil will have little if any effect at all. You'll need the I basket or change your riding style. You'll notice that the whine is much greater at certain speeds in certain gears. I generally stay at higher rpm and never hear anything but the engine.
  15. Check for pinched wires in the bracket holding the turn signals on. If you have the passing lamps and removed that bracket its easy to pinch them when you put it back together. You shorted something out to blow a fuse
  16. Sounds like the ign switch. But since you opened it Check all the connectors inside the fairing to be sure you didn't disconnect anything. Check your kill switch also
  17. Fuel pump is behind the left battery cover. The filter is further in behind it. Its a pain in the butt to change the filter. I did on mine at 54k and it looked as good as new but after all that work the new one was put in.
  18. The dealer is full of it. I would really take them to task on it and tell them to show me in the manual where it says you have to do these things. I would probably use a different dealer after that too. In no way did you have anything to do with a stuck ring yet they want to say "you should be doing this" BULL....
  19. Good looking bike.
  20. WHO were these no sound movie stars?? :rotf:
  21. Its fun to do that in tunnels....
  22. Coming off a V-twin your probably lugging the engine. These V-4's like a lot of rpm and run much better at 4k and up. They will do 85 in third, so after you break it in you can see that for yourself. Welcome to the site
  23. I always like that model Riviera . Sharp looking cars. Had a Regal LS for 4 years. They are good cars. http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/1995-to-1999-buick-riviera-5.htm
