Recently picked up a Senior Pass for parks and stuff and was wondering if others on here have one and how much they have used it. I know that it is generally for federal parks, but do some state parks honor it? What has been your experiences with it? Sitting here at about 15 degrees, I have to think about warmer weather or I will go crazy...er. RandyA

Dumb things we do .... I'd wired up my Trailer Isolator and realized I'd wired it to the Aux fuse block I'd installed, which is only live when the key is turned on. Now, the Isolator is supposed to be wired direct to the battery so ... I disconnected it, patched in an in-line fuse, and hooked it to the battery. Then I tested the power connector to the trailer .... NO POWER on any of the connections (run, brake, turn)... WHAT??? I fussed with that for a while, checking this and that ... couldn't understand why no power.... and then it HIT ME ... ! ... I connected the wire to the negative post on the battery :rotfl:!!!

I just changed oil in the Midnight, and discovered it took me almost two years to get 3,000 miles. Sad that I haven't rode more than that.....

Is it possible to effectively repair a sintered metal part ? My daughter broke the mirror stem on her motorcycle (closed the garage door on it ) and a new replacement is at least $55 . She asked if I can repair it before she goes and buys a new one.

Thank you, for all the Birthday Wishes !!!! The party still going strong.... And this is one of my best friend's birthday gift ..... a case of beer and he Crimps all the bottle caps We had to use a flat screw driver .... I unwinterized The FJR (if thats aword ) took it out of the Garage ,sat on it , Started it and looked down the Street and there were several ice patches Back went the scoot in the Garage And Now Wait 4 Months

Hey guys, In case you're wondering where I've been of late - have been doing a BIG audit of the amount of time I spend on-line and decided to wind it back considerably. Have down-sized my ISP subscription by 75% and self-imposed a 2GB limit. That's down from an unlimited plan. This PC used to run 18 hours a day. Now, whenever I do turn it on it's for 10 minutes or so - to check my Emails, do my banking and see what's happening on this site. Best thing about it all - I've found my bride in the loungeroom of an evening. (MY BAD!) So - I'm still here but not to the extent I used to be.
