  1. Now whowudda thunk there was a Gun Barrel City in TX....:rotf:
  2. When you get your alarm go ahead and get it with the remote start and 2 way comm. Its great to hear the remote start beeping if the alarm is going off and your inside a store or something and can't hear it. Those hot days are great too, Just hit start a couple of minutes before you get to the car and its already cooling or heating. I've put in a few of them so if you need help just holler..
  3. Now all you need is to clothes pins and playin cards and you'll even sound like a real motorcycle.
  4. Its not HOT.... Its Bloody HOT.. We are breaking records this summer. Get out in the AM, Hide in the AC or shade between noon and 6. Don't worry Brad its only about 4 months of it and we're 1/2 thru it now....Night riding is great. WELCOME TO TEXAS.
  5. I always use the rear crash bars. I put some large eyebolts in the back part of the trailer. When you tie that back end down it really pulls the bike down on mine.
  6. Like Squeeze said. First thing to do is isolate if its electrical or fuel. If no spark then its electrical. But since its a sudden shutdown with no "bad running" prior, I would tend to think its electrical AND affecting all cylinders.
  7. There's an old saying us techs use. "Its not if ,its When " Sooner or later they all crash.
  8. Oh yea, I get about 33 mpg but some here get around 40 on the Second Gens. In the rain it behaves like any other bike I expect.
  9. Hi Robert, Welcome to the best site on the web. Spent 23 years in Ca. Half in Stockton and the rest between Bakersfield,Garden Grove and Pacomia. My commute was all over doing PC installs and troubleshooting. When I was in Stockton (till 07) IT was all over the Bay Area. Home Office is in Rohnert Park though. The bike handles well lane splitting. Its no wider than any other cruiser. Heavier though. At almost 900 lbs wet you'll want a little help. WWW.ridelikeapro.com is just what you need if you have never had a big bike. You and your wife will love the room on it. Good luck and have fun.
  10. Every time I walk up to a desk or log on a machine remotely I hear the same thing. :shock3: You become a "User"......:rotf:
  11. I believe there's a fed standard that the states must follow. If there's any kind of intersection then there's to be a double yellow line and passing is not permitted for at least 500 feet in any direction. That would not include driveways and such. The story doesn't mention if the pass was legal or illegal.
  12. Hey Brad, They got a couple of options. Door to Door , Door to terminal, or terminal to terminal, Let us know when the Upack is do in Houston and I'll run down and help break ,,, uh ,, I mean move things.... Oh yea, You have to ask for the ramp when you place the order
  13. Leds consume very little power. You'll be fine.
  14. Did You tell her she could ride it when ever she wanted ?

    I WON!!!

I just knew I was mixed up with a bunch of Bikers.
  16. I think what he is sayin there Goose is if your using one of those plug in cassette adapters that plug into the mp3 player and looks like a cassette. Then you pop that into the cassette you have to have the bike on cassette to hear it. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41A7EF8TZJL._SL500_AA280_.jpg
  17. Something that can take the vibration from the bike....
  18. First thing is to isolate it. Plug the earphones in you use to listen to the mp3 player and then play an mp3. if you can hear it then crank the vol all the way up on the player and then plug it into the aux in and see what it sounds like
  19. Must be your mp3 player. The bike just has an AUX in. Did you select AUX on the bike ? What kind of mp3 player is it?
  20. :rotf: Well, If you ain't dropped one of these bikes yet you will. They are heavy

    It's over

Our condolences on your loss Rod.
  22. :rotf: That's the same thing I said to the wife...
  23. If I remember right those yellow HD's are sealed beams. Don't know if they will fit the RSV or not. But if the Passing lamps on the RSV take H3's then you could use PIAA's Ion . H3 ION CRYSTAL http://www.piaa.com/images/fade-ic.gif
  24. Tied for first was the RSV and the HD. Even though the RSV is 10 years without any changes. PAY ATTENTION Yamaha. Some updates would put it first and make money for Yamaha.
