The volume may be lower than normal to them but you should sound fine. I did find I had to cup my hand over the mic when riding as I was trying to yell over the wind noise. The caller didn't even know I was on a bike though. If its really low I may need to redo the cable for you. I would say give me a call but that would probably be an international call. Is there any control on the mic voulme on the 660 ? Also, just to double check be sure the mic has not turned around in the windsock and is facing down or away. The mic should just be touching your lips. -

Are you saying the caller can't hear you, or you cannot hear them very well ? -

Kent, What's the usual time frame for removing the carb assembly and are there any shortcuts you found ? I can do carbs but have questions about the cabling for the throttles. -

I prefer the rear crash bars. They are plenty strong enough. -
I used individual leds with velcro mount to light the bike up and not see the led. http://www.superbrightleds.com has a great selection. when its just your basic led you'll need to solder a 330 ohm 1/4 watt resistor to it to limit current flow. No thick wire is needed as the amp draw is very small

Its not uncommon to have registry errors. A lot may be as simple as files that been moved or erased. Or even shortcuts that no longer work. I am not familiar with that program. I use a couple of different ones but most are free. Just be sure to do a search for the product you are going to use to see if it comes up as a trojan or installer. Getting it from http://www.downloads.com is usually a safe bet

The one with the resistor and diode would go to the tail light and the one with just the diode should go to the brake light.

Look under the left side to see what's got scrap marks on it.

Several members asked about something to get the wind off their knees. I have made up some Knee Wind Blocks. They are 38.00 a pair which includes shipping (40 USD if you live in Canada or Alaska). They mount with Velcro so they are removable for hot days. For cold days and nights these will really make a difference on your knees guys. I made mine up 4 years ago and was happy I did every time it got cool. Mine cut about 90% of the wind off my knees These are available in Black or smoke. I will make them in smoke if anyone really wants them like that but they will have some distortions because of the heating and bending
