  1. Several people have asked so I have started making replacement lowers for the lower wind vents on our 2nd gens. The cost is 35 which includes shipping. They are available in smoke, clear, and black . I have to make these as you order them so expect them a couple of weeks after you order . You can paypal me or send a check. buddyrich at ebmc.com is the paypal. Didn't use the @ symbol so the spammers don't pick up on the email address. Pics attached
  2. Nice bike. If it has the brickstones on it the rear is about worn out at that mileage. I would replace it as soon as possible with an Avon.
  3. UR Way Beyond help Dan
  4. The biggest reason a thread is removed is because of personal attacks on each other. We would not email everybody in the thread to tell them the thread was deleted because of something going on between other members. Very rarely is a thread removed because of bad taste.
  5. No pics but I found this https://www.masclassics.com/vtwin/shoppingCart.php?vTwin=31-9920 And http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Royal-Star-Venture-Harley-Davidson-Muffler-VTwin-Clamps_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1116QQitemZ350113187713QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories?amp;mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Febaymotors%2FRoyal-Star-Venture-Harley-Davidson-Muffler-VTwin-Clamps_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1116QQitemZ350113187713QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories&toolid=10001
  6. Red1, there's a link somewhere to download the service manual. Its got the wiring diagram in it. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1828&highlight=service+manual+download
  7. At least its silver. Hey Redneck, You design that sidecar ??? :rotf:
  8. Everybody knows owls are smarter then dogs.
  9. Look inside the grooves of the tire towards the center. You'll see what appears to be a small bridge or square lump. That's your wear indicator.
  10. You can put an Adjure 7" in it. I am also running a Bi-Xenon HID. http://www.adjureinc.com/7headlamps.html
  11. The Commanders were the only tires I had that were noisy in the curves brand new. Changed them out after they were about half gone and went back to the Avons.
  12. Works for me. In fact I might buy 2 new cars and a new bike...
  13. Did the same thing a few years ago. Seems that when the Avons go they go quick. One mile they look fine and 50 miles later your on the thread. I have started replace them when they get close to the wear indicators.
  14. 3000 ft is not considered high altitude. It only needs a carb sync more than likely. The factory does not rejet them for 3k feet that's for sure.
  15. Yea, They invented 2 way radio since then. Not so easy to outrun them now...:rotf:
  16. Put your SD card in an external card reader. You can get one at walmart if you don't have one. If it won't read the card at all reformat it and select the Fat32 file system. Then convert any songs to MP3 and put them on the card. You should be good to go then
  17. Crotch Rocket probably had too many tickets already so he knew better... I had a 68 Olds 442 in 74. Man that was a screamer with just a holley 650 double pumper on it. Only car I ever had that still lit the tires up at 60 when you slammed 3rd gear.
  18. They are great bikes. The front tire change makes a difference. There are also leveling links that will help but they raise the rear an inch so you may want to bypss that mod
  19. See what happens when you take it apart and can't get it back together...
  20. Honk,Wave and GET out of their way huh ? I gues I won't get any cheesecake the next time...:rotf:
  21. Why I'm shocked, I never made anything up in my life. I mean just cause I tell them the Hard Drive ran outta RAM due to CPU running too fast because of network congestion from the ISP having to reroute HTTP traffic thru a DNS server doesn't mean I made it up.... :rotf: We'll figure out something though
  22. My molding does not fit right on a stock shield or the clearview. Has a small gap. May not be the windshield at all. Even after getting a new molding it didn't fit just right. The shape of the fairing shapes the molding somewhat.
  23. Good to see you guys back on the trail. Strong storms forecast for us tomorrow but it looks like you'll be south of the storms.

    spring please

    What's snow ??? :rasberry:
  25. The first Gens don't suffer the rev limit the second gens do so it would be close but the first gen would probably win. If you can use a Dyna3000 and set the rev limit the same as the first gen then it would probably be a tie.
