I've pushed it to 40. Don't think I'll go over that one.

I have the 05 Dakota extended cab. No problems with the front end. It has around 50k on it now. I do have a problem with it pressurising the tank though. ODO keeps saying GASCAP. Tried a new gascap and that didn't fix it. Should have gotten the 4 door. It has the 3.7 and I get 17 in town and about 20 on the hiway. It pulls my boat OK and it weighs around 4200. The difference in gas mileage is not so great so you may want to consider the Ram 1500 4 door. They are really pushing the 08's down here wilh like 14k off. If you get the Dakota go ahead and get the V8. On a steep hill with the boat the 3.7 has to drop to second and tops out around 45.

Years ago I bought a Snowbear Tilt trailer from home depot. It works well. Riding the bike up the trailer is a little bit of fun. Also had to reinforce the ramp. You also have to get the balance right so the trailer tilts back down when you get the bike all the way up. The bike is too long to put the tailgate back on with it loaded. Both front and back of the trailer change ends and lay down to make it 12 feet long if needed. I just use 1 and put it back on the front after the bike is loaded.

Is it with in your mechanical ability to do the work ? Will any special tools be needed ? If so (ability) then you may be able to pocket the labor costs. If not then let the dealer do it.

I agree. Waste of my time. We spend a lot of AV and firewalls and all that. I just look at it as job security. I did see it was an old update. But like a lot of shops we have servers that can't go down till we decide its time for them to go off line. Even a few minutes is critical on some of them. Those are the ones I call job insecurity..

Last time we had drywall coming down from the ceiling it was due to a leak in the upper floor. If its a 2 story check for leaks and if a one story have the roof checked by a pro.
-
Yea, We started verifying that all of our servers were up to date last week. I just worry that there will be other variants next week.

Yes. Select "Members List" then "advanced search" then just select it from the drop down in "Location".

All you need is the Garmin GXM 30 unit. There's some on ebay. It plugs into the mount and its ready. Only one place and one way to plug it in. Don had posted a link to one he bought off ebay but I forget where it is. I'm pretty sure it in one of his Garmin threads.

I just ordered it from the link to navtraf on the gamin XM page. I had 2 other radios though so it came to like 12.99 for the gxm30. At that time an additional radio was 6.99 for the XM. It was just the basic weather. http://www.xmradio.com/navtraffic/get_nav.xmc This appears to be the current pricing http://www.xmradio.com/navtraffic/pricing.xmc

I use the GXM 30. Its been great. I may lose reception under thick trees or in a downtown area with tall buildings but so would my car. Have noticed that the Sirius channels are beginning to replace the XM channels. 46 on xm is now the same as 14 on sirius. Go ahead and get the traffic/weather. its only 4 bucks more per month but well worth it. Thing will show you accidents ahead and ask if you would like to be re-routed around it. Then if there's a tornado warning or watch it will pop up and inform you which counties its in and show you on the map.

I agree, stacking gaskets is asking for more leaks. try this http://www.permatex.com/products/Automotive/automotive_gasketing/specialty_gasket_maker/MotoSeal_1_Ultimate_Gasket_Maker_Grey.htm http://www.permatex.com/products/motorcycle/motorcycle_gasketing.htm

No, You have to buy an add on unit to get the XM. The GXM-30 or 40. About 100 to 200 depending on where you get it.

My 550 does tell me to turn right but keep left if theres 2 lanes and it wants me in the left lane because of an upcoming turn. Which is about the same thing, its just not telling me to get in lane 2 or 4 or what ever. But looking at the map pretty much shows exactly what you should be doing

I spent 39 bucks and got hypnotized in 1990. Walked out and threw away a carton of kools. Was a 2.5 pack a day smoker before that since 72. Best money I ever spent. Saved enough each month to go out and buy a new car with that money. And it wasn't a cheap car.
