  1. Born and raised about 10 miles from where your at tonight. Why am I in Texas ??? :rotf: Even though I gave up drinking. You gots to take a bath once a year there also.....
  2. If they are stripped already you can just grind the head off. Some people us vice grips to get a hold of them but that's tricky because the head is rounded.
  3. And the rider on the bike cause you ain't pushin it up there. I would rent a trailer one-way. No sense in messin up a new bike to save a couple of hundred.
  4. I load mine on an 8ft trailer and it all fits in it. If you have a short bed pick but its 7 or more with the tailgate down then it will fit. Biggest problem is loading that big mother up that high in a pickup. Some guys use a 3/4 sheet of plywood in the bottom to help get some of the weight off the tailgate. The trailer I use is a snowbear that tilts and it sure makes it easy to get on and off. Wheelbase is showin 67 inchs so add 8 inchs for the front and 8 for the back and you should have that measurement.
  5. I got 4 tickets the first 2 years I started coming back to TX. All of them were warning though so no fine. But I can say you have to do the speed limit here or risk it. They don't even let you slide on 4 over.
  6. You found that in the pond didn't you ? LOTS of work there
  7. Well, they couldn't of rid it any harder than you would after you bought it. The rev limit kicks in at 6500.
  8. Seems kinda of redundant and may prompt clique's
  9. Y'all are just plain weird, Big hugs, little hugs, smileys, What kinda biker hang out is this, And I won't even go into the pink chaps thing. :rotf:
  10. The new radars allow for checking speed in both directions. Coming up from behind, or Coming at him. Why do you think he didn't have a radar running? http://www.stalkerradar.com/law_2x.shtml
  11. That's why they call them Steel Horses.
  12. EARPLUGS! ... :rotf:

  14. Too much for that many miles I think. You can get newer with less miles for the same price. For only a little more http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-Midnight-Royal-Star-Venture_W0QQitemZ130264462776QQihZ003QQcategoryZ50045QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

  17. Oh great, I failed algebra, I thought the google worked great.
  18. The V4 will probably go 200k or better. I know of one guy with 170k on his 91 now.
  19. The post I made earlier in this thread is from an idea I had about 3 years ago. It will run you about 18 for the whole thing if I remember right. But it will work properly.
  20. On your typical headlight the difference in light output between hi an lo is only 5 watts. The big change is in the beam pattern and the aiming of the light. That's why a pickup fully loaded on low beam seems to have his hi beams on. They can do a lot of things to change the aiming for the hi beam on an led headlight. I would like to see 6k on the temp though.
  21. You may be having network problems. I am on 2 different nets here at the house. The radio is saturated and VR acts slow on it. The Sprint card is not and the site is very fast on it. When you notice the slowness try running a speedtest at http://www.speedtest.net.
  22. Can't find the thread but this is what I found This was posted by Buddyrich back when, under "quick release saddle bag".
