    Mine included the weather and the traffic for 3.99. Maybe that's where their fouling things up at. Trying to remove something from your service thats included in the price.

    I would think that he'll set a time frame and we will have to send them to him. We would probably expect to be with out the rear floorboards for 2 weeks or a little longer. Say a week for all of them to arrive. Do them the following week and them send them back out. I'm just guessing though. He may want one person to handle all the shipping. Guess we wait till you find out. But I'm in also.

    I would think that all the sets need to be sent at once then. Would be done all at the same time and then shipped back to each person ?

    It can take up to 12 minutes for the traffic and weather to display after you turn the unit on. I don't think its ever been that long but that's what the XM site said.

    I had mine done at the local yamaha shop. They totalled it at first even though the geico adjuster didn't think it was that bad. I went to the dealer and said what's up with this. Well, they were replacing every piece that had the slightest scratch on it even if it was a rock chip that had nothing to do with the accident. Went over it with the dealer and told them what I wanted done. It worked out the way Iwanted to in the end. Yes they did replace the light bar,passing lamp and some other after market stuff.

    If its used take it for a test ride before you buy it. The whine is mostly heard at certain rpms in certain gears. 45 in 4th 55 in 5th,35 in third. Pretty much sums up my bike and its a whiner

    My 05 was just getting broken in at 50k. I too came off a Nomad. You'll love the RSV. Its got a lot more power but you have to ride it different. These bikes want to be in the high rpm range so wind it out till its screaming.

    The bike mount has a rubber cover over it and a couple of small screws holding it in place if I rememeber right. The bike mount and the car mount both use the USB type connector. So you can move you XM radio between them. I use Velcro because the magnet on the GXM-30 ain't very strong. Garmin is now showing a GXM-40 that is suppose to be smaller. The 30 is a little bigger than a 16 ft carpenters tape.

    I just use Velcro. I do move it between the bike and the car.

    I do. It works in the car also. The gxm-30 will also give you traffic and weather. So you get traffic,weather and XM for about 12 a month. I have the same problem as you. I have 3 xm's and one sirius. I would not trade the GXM-30 for anything though. It will alert you to a traffic jam and ask if you would like to be go around it. Also gives you severe weather warnings.

    Can't do it. My eyes just refuse to cross. Only thing I was getting was some good traces.

    Just got my new Avons again. Tried everything out there and I won't use anything but the Avons now. Just can't find a better tire than the Venoms.

    If its clicking then its not the fuse. But it should click a few times and stop after the carbs fill up with fuel. Quik question. What position is the petcock in?

    I put one of these in my Dodge. Works great. There's even a code you can enter to watch DVD's while your doin 90. Has aux in, video in, all kinds of stuff.     Now on the RSV it won't do that. You don't need it doing anything and the prompts will announce. Same on my truck with the car adapter. But my car radio will allow me to set it to AUX even if there is no input.

    Actually the Zumo will pause the MP3 player automatically when it gives you turn prompts. Did you crank up the volume all the way on the 550 yet ? It has a volume control also. If you hold the menu button you'll get a yellow display with the brightness, press the button right below of above it (i forget which) and it will switch sides and will show a master volume out display.

    Cinder Red base coat the 4 coats of Tangerine will give it a nice color. Go by a HOK dealer and get their sample book. Take it out into the sunlight to get the best effect.

    Glad your Ok Leonard. Glad you could get the bike back up on ice although, where's the video . I'll bet that was more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
