I'm planning a possible trip to see a friend in Washington, In. this weekend. This is a meeting point for both of us and we were thinking of a possible motorcycle ride since i'll be on mine. (he doesn't have one YET!!!) Does anyone know of any rental places around this area? We would like to see some of the countryside while were there! Thanks, Big Mike

While riding this past w/e thru the rolling hills of Western Iowa, admiring the Fall colors, I saw a couple of people riding horses thru their fields. This got me wondering if bikers could've been Cowboys in a previous life. From my own experience, I am in heaven when on my bike out in the countryside with no one else around. The wind, sunshine, even the rain makes me feel at home. Even though I am a 'city boy', I feel more natural out riding the countryside. I know this is stretching things, but my mind wanders the whole time when I am out riding. craigr

Greetings all, Just back from a weekend away with my 4 brothers. Thought I'd share a couple of photos with you. Shot 1 is the 5 of us - the 2004 RSV, 3 Hardlies and a Honda 1100 Super bol d'or. All up nearly 7 litres of engine capacity in 14 cylinders. Nobody has stock pipes, and boy did we turn heads as we slowly rumbled through the countryside. Shot 2 is yours truly. Shot 3 is typical of the countryside around where I live. I'm about 3 hours from home here. And no - we do not ride on the right side of the road. I just wanted to pull up in the shade for a drink and leak. Enjoy.
