  1. Thats easy.........By not letting it get OLD.
  2. At work we have been installing the following LED utiity lights on the new trucks coming through and believe me they are bright. I made the mistake of looking directly at one and even at a distance it was like staring at the sun. They come in two versions one which directly replaces a par 36 sealed beam and the other which is self mounting and is totaly weather proof. The nice thing is you ca get them from most any truck dealer or parts dealer that deals with Grote and most of them do. Here are some interesting links. http://www.grote.com/Trilliant36/ http://www.grote.com/Trilliant36/LEDConversionBulb.html http://www.grote.com/prodcat/attachments/Trilliant36InfoSheet.pdf http://www.grote.com/prodcat/attachments/Trilliant36-BulbAndBracket.pdf

  11. Husqvarna is ok but I would have gone with the stihl. I bought my stihl in 1989 with 28" and 18" bars I used too drop a fair number of trees and cut about 6-8 bush cord a year and to this very day even if I don't touch it for two years it fires up every time with just 2 or 3 pulls.

  24. Ignition timing does affect how fuel burns quite often when you get engine knock the two solutions are 1) use higher octane fuel or 2) retard your ignition timing. The poping in the exhaust from high octane fuel could be the result of unburned fuel escaping through the exhaust valve do to late ignition, remember regular burns faster than high octane.
  25. While trying to find a new source for Plastex I came across this site http://www.aircraftspruce.ca/catalog/cmpages/01-00542-45.php?clickkey=57384 for all purposes this seems to be Plastex under another name. I do not know how currant the info is but if it is there are a few locations in the USA and one here in Ontario. It appears you can mail order or purchase over the counter if you are close enough. Here is a link for you Americans http://www.aircraftspruce.com/search/search.php?s=plastifix&x=48&y=17 A list of locations Spruce Locations West - Corona, CA East - Peachtree City, GA Canada - Brantford, ON International Reps Avionics Affiliates
