I got the same message a couple days ago. I called fedex about it and the first thing she asked me was, does it ask you to click for a receipt. I told her it did and she said to delete it right away and under no circumstances to click on it. I have not received another one though.
Ignore Charlie he doesn't ride a Venture anymore cause he can't afford it .......The speeding tickets were killing him...
I have an 89 passing has never been a problem even with two 250 lb persons on the bike ..and if you drop a gear to be over 3000 RPM .....HANG ON
Comfort no issue I once rode 15 hrs 1000 km in one day with only breaks every 2 or 3 hours:thumbsup2:
Now keep in mind mine was 1st gen should you down grade to a second gen you still won't be disappointed.
Its a heck of a climb but I have always had the notion that once you pass the point of a survivable fall it really doesn't matter how much further you go as long as you have the strength and tenacity to keep going.
Thanks for the warning Now when I go to home depot I carry only pocket change just in case.........Of course this requires multiple trips since I can only buy a :confused24:couple nails at a time this way:whistling:
Is that how you got 15th.........Buzzing by all the legit fisherman dragging a cople mtreble hooks and snagging them off of the other lines.
Just sayin
Mine was getting so much water in it that I drilled a small hole in the lowest point of the box (as determined with the bike on the side stand) to let the water drain out.
I resealed that but it was still getting in . However I just recently noticed a hairline crack in the r/s corner of the lid so its time to get the plastifix out (it looks and functions just like plastex) I picked it up at the airport in Brantford. I am hoping it is the same but won't know until I try it. It looks and smells the same has the same applicators (actually slightly better). All in all I am pretty convinced it is the same stuff under a slightly altered name and I can get locally.
Now Carl shame on you.......At your age you should know better than to leave your stuff lying around were the young ones can get their little curious hands on it.
Glad to hear Hope is so successful in he chosen field. It is sad to hear however that she needs a hip replacement at such an early age. Hope all goes well for her and give her my blessings.
Nice to see you back Charlie.
As for you new comers its probably a little confusing because it concerns an old issue that only a certain few are aware of and I believe Charlie has made his comment in such a fashion as to connect with those who are aware of the issue without involving/dragging other additional people into it.
I myself do not know the exact details nor do I care to. I just remember there was a chain of events that went bad and emotions ran high. Hopefully we can all put whatever it was behind us and once again get back to the order of fun, motorcycles and FRIENDSHIP.
Once again good to see you back Charlie
This may well be true but like her mother she also listens well giving the other person a chance to talk as well
She is a younger version of her mother not her father ----any more questions
All In all she did a very fine job and both Mom and Pop should be proud
