    You can make them as short as you like. just make sure you clamd something like small neeble nose pliers or foceps on the leads between the resistor or diode and the joint you are soldering. This will help prevent heat damage to the component.

    With regards to the lights shown in the above picture the weak point on them is the electrical connection they are very bad for corroding so seal them up well with NYK electrical grease or dielectric grease, available at truck supply sources (in a pinch old fashioned vaseline also works well).     It was definitly a Pleasure to have Omer among us at the meet and eat. I hope we made him feel at home and that he enjoyed our company as much we enjoyed his. As swifty said Have a safe trip Home. It was great to sit down with all who were present to enjoy another group feed with good food. Thanks to Keri and her Table Top staff for a wonderfull meal.

    I think it will be interesting but I believe they will appeal most to nostaligia buff wanna be's and that element of individuals who will buy them simply because no one else currantly has one. After that the well of buyers will dry up and it will have to depend on performance, ridability, reliability and affordability.
