Due to the fact that a certian unnamed member lost his passport Ben (saddlebum) and Carl (marcarl) did not make it to the Detroit meet and eat. Rather then leave these two out standing members, out in the cold. A table for 4, was acquired at the China King restaraunt on the outskirts of Brantford. Dispite the short notice there was still a 50% turn out of VR members. Of course as is the norm Carl began the festivity's with a fine speech and since BradT was at the M&E in Detroit there was no one there to interupt his speech. Food was great and and at one point if you can believe it or not Carl was actually left speechless as you can see by the pictures below.

So call me crazy, but I've had this '06 MV for two months and I want to go for a nice long ride. My wife's niece is getting married on May 5th in Detroit Lakes, MN, so I'm trying to plan on leaving Carlsbad CA on Friday April 29th, have to be back to work on Tuesday, May 10th. Up I-15 north to somewhere in Colorado or Wyoming or Montana and east-northeast to Fargo/Detroit Lakes. Any ideas, comments, psychiatric care, or whatever is appreciated. I figure it's about 2K miles each way, planning on about 500 per day. If the weather that area is currently getting continues, it's probably not going to happen, but I'm hoping it'll be warm enough to go. We did a 315 mile each way 2 weeks ago, the Butler Mod helped alot, and we could have gone for a couple hundred more easy... what's everybody think about this idea? thanks! Brian

Have to take my daughter to Detroit Sat. morning. Viewing a thing about a Veterinary grad. college that is in St. Kits (?) She has been accepted at this one and is waiting on a couple more. Better than the 4 wait lists she was put on last year. I have map quested this place and have a gps, but I was wondering is it is in a decent area, etc. Has anyone heard of this place. I am thinking about heading down towards West Virginia to try to make some extra cash before Christmas and seeing how we do not have enough snow in the Detroit area I am willing to go south. Anyone have too much and need it moved. :snow::snow:
