Avon Venoms current status

I had the avon venoms on my 89. did not like them, from the beginng the back end went squirrly as I approached 65 mile per hour (105km/hr) Then two months later the hairline cracks showed up only 200 km on the tires. Took them back to Zedno's. The owner there did not hesitate to replace them and once inside I saw a some new dunlop E2's and he was more than willing to mount then instead of another set of avons. With regards to the hairline cracks you need to check the date stamp on the tire. To my understanding the cracking only involves the tires with that date stamp. I no longer remember the date but it is noted in one of the posts regarding the issue. -
Well its not two tone burgandy but it is a MKII so I guess it will do. Looks good Carl. Probably not all that much wrong with it that some fresh gas and good carb RE & RE & cleaning wouldn't cure and a set of fresh diaphrams (wait you already have those) P/S you being DUTCH how much did you convince them to pay you to get it out of their way. Does this mean Marca will be leading the pack now come next season? And no more U turns ?

Microsoft may want to auto update something too old which it no longer supports and this could be causing your update failure such as an outdated office version. Mine does it all the time but I don't use automatic updates and so each time it comes up I just cancel it.

There is a difference when name calling is done in jest and we all have come to give as good as we get, when it comes to doing it fun. However sometimes during warm or even heated discussions name calling can be hurtfull and there is no cause or valid reason for it. A difference of opinion can be just as effectively stated without derrogatory name calling as with and I believe the later to simply be somewhat immature. We are all adults here and school yard name calling during debates should be far beneath us. We all have an opinion, we all see the facts or percieve facts in a different light and mostly very few of us have all the facts at hand. So lets keep on open mind and keep our debates friendly.

I disagree (assuming the facts are as portrayed). Before issuing a warrant the DA should have reasonable proof as wel as gotten all the facts first.. I am also sure that at the time of his arrest he would have told the PD he paid in full for the vehical and should have been given ample oppurtunity to produce his reciept. If having produced a valid reciept, the PD should have acknowledged and therefore called it in having the warrant nullified. All too often people are arrested on false accusations and maney of them have had their lives ruined because of it. I am not a big fan of lawsuits but in this case I feel if the facts are as portrayed the dealership should have to pay as well as arrested for giving false information.

If you dont have a back rest or even care to have one, carry one of those elastic back support belts, used by workers. They are available at most hardware stores, come in a variaty of styles, including a cool mesh materia, that breaths (for hot days). You will be pleased at the difference it makes. I have an old back injury from falling 25 feet, to a oncrete floor, when a scaffold I was on, toppled over and some days I just can't ride without it.

The daughter is out of the hospital and at home now. Her recovery still has a ways to go but she is improving every day. Headaches and memory lapse are here major issue's at this point

Not only have we made some dumb mistakes when we were young but how often to this day have we all had such a close call do to a split second of inattention, that one split second more and there could have been disaterous results. Add to that inexperience and the odds become even greater. Sometimes I believe young drivers should complete an off road skid and handling course before being allowed to drive on the road. Traffic today is so much bussier then it was in our learning days.

Hopefully he will recover quickly and totaly. Hard to believe that a the kid did not see a trike considering they are not exactly small or narrow.
