While trying to find a new source for Plastex I came across this site http://www.aircraftspruce.ca/catalog/cmpages/01-00542-45.php?clickkey=57384 for all purposes this seems to be Plastex under another name. I do not know how currant the info is but if it is there are a few locations in the USA and one here in Ontario. It appears you can mail order or purchase over the counter if you are close enough. Hello, Been awhile since I've been on. My 1983 is up an running for the season, but I still am having trouble with a "serious" exhaust leak. I mean it seems to be leaking in several different locations. I have purchased new gaskets for all the pipe locations. And I guess I'm going to try and tackle it this coming weekend. But I was wondering if there is anyone out there (in my local area of Akron Ohio) that has done this type of thing before and would like to give me a hand? If you can help out or give some advice and would like to get together this weekend, drop me a PM and we'll exchange info. Thanks everyone. -
well I'm back at it again. just wrote down all the towns that NC members live in,all 76. trying to get some feed back on some locations for the meet and eats this year. last year i had one a month and think that this year will try every other month,what do y'all think? i know the economy is still down and that people have a lot of plans doing the year so I'm thinking that spacing them out a little might help. last years schedule was march-19 Columbus NC,April-23 hickory NC,may-28 Greensboro NC,June-18 Asheville NC and July-16 Charlotte NC. i know some of those dates were on holidays and i will try not to make that mistake again, and i will also check out the calender here so not to inter fear with anything else thats going on. thinking about changing up some of the locations to draw more people. once again just trying to hear from some of you for your thoughts and locations. P.S. just to say it again, NOT JUST NC MEMBERS BUT ALSO SURROUNDING AREAS AND ALL OTHERS ARE WELCOME!!!!!! thanks.

En route from the ATL to W.VA, my '99 RSV is experiencing some electrical problems. The scoot crapped out in Greenville SC, so I replaced the battery, and all seemed to be OK. Then it happened again up here in Erwin TN, so I'm thinking it might be the stator. Any suggestions on dealers or repair locations up here in the Johnson City area that I can contact tomorrow morning? I'm hole up here in a Holiday Inn Express, riding out the bad storms tonight. FYI, my cell is 770-364-4393 if anybody has any ideas. Thanks.

What is the purpose of the plugs closer to the outside of the spark plug (see pic...circled in red) It would be a lot easier for ham fisted people if they were "optional" spark plug locations! I'm thinking just a casting plug...but is there any mechanical function to these?

Any one have any knowledge or documentation on a '93 era Shadow 1100. I have one in the garage that I am working on for a friend. He has a Climbers for it but It does not even give fuse locations. Thanks

I have read about some success in reintroducing ELK to the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. So have you ever seen and where is the best locations for viewing them? I'll be browsing around that area before Asheville.

This is interesting. When you get the web site up, Click on the state. Then the next window is a listing of cities in that state. Click on your city And there are speed trap locations listed http://www.speedtrap.org/speedtraps/stetlist.asp
