Confused about BuddyRich Cable for Zumo
BuddyRich replied to Maritimer's topic in GPS, Audio, Electronics
Its designed to plug in under the fairing on the RSV. It will work by just plugging it in between your headsets and the 5 pin plug in on the bike. If you want one like that I would have to cut down the length and its not the best looking thing but it would work. -

The selling dealer should replace the windshield. If he won't then call Yamaha and tell them how you were sold a dirty bike and feel this was done to hide the scratched windshield.

Buy a new gas cap, but make sure there's a 2nd gen under it. -

I tried picking mine up once. IT didn't budge.. They are great bikes. You'll need to rethink your riding. These bike don't develop power till about 4k and then they are gone. The leveling links will help with low speed but not as much as www.ridelikeapro.com will. What to watch out for. Just other bikes TRYING to catch up in your rearview mirrors.

I will add this about Steve's grill cover. I have had 2 of them. The first one took a big rock and cracked the fiberglass and bent the screen but saved the radiator. The second one was on the bike when I hit the mud and the bike jumped a 6 inch curb. I know the front end bottomed out on that one. The only thing the grill had wrong with it was it was caked with mud. The back of my front fender shows no contact with anything. I also run 0 psi in the front and about 20 in the back.

Good thing about that kind of heat is its dry, Caring a large bottle of water and splashing some on you while your riding will help beat the heat. I used a 1qt sports bottle. I had to stop and refill it about once an hour but it did work.

Pick up a Flash drive or portable HD and get all your stuff off first. Any restore action you do from the Dell cd is probably going to wipe the HD clean. Unless you have a lot of Pics on it a 4gb flash drive should be big enough

Try restarting in safe mode with network support. Reboot the machine and press f8 . Or you can try to do a system restore. Go to help and look up system restore. Restore it back to a date before you starting getting the problem

This is the manual way to remove it. Its spyware. Try goin to http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php Heres a link to the free one http://www.download.com/3001-8022_4-10844457.html?hhTest&spi=a89f7218795203f1d5ae13012eeec450&part=dl-ad-aware Remove XP Antivirus 2008 Manually Tip: If you are not an expert in this field, we highly recommend you use "removed link" You'll run the risk of damaging your computer if you make a mistake during the manual removal process. Stop the following XP Antivirus 2008 processes: xpantivirus2008_v880339.exe xpantivirus2008_v880019.exe xpantivirus2008_v880187.exe %program_files%\xp antivirus\xpa.exe xpa.exe install_v2.exe xpa2008.exe Remove the following XP Antivirus 2008 registry keys: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\xp antivirus\options scans HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\xp antivirus\options lastrun HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\xp antivirus\options securityvector HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\xp antivirus\options termsurl HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\xp antivirus\options billingregurl HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\xp antivirus\options billingurl2 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\xp antivirus\options billingurlapproved2 Locate and delete the following XP Antivirus 2008 files: xpantivirus2008_v880339.exe xpantivirus2008_v880019.exe xpantivirus2008_v880187.exe %desktopdirectory%\xp antivirus 2008.lnk %program_files%\xp antivirus\xpa.exe %startmenu%\xp antivirus 2008\xp antivirus 2008.lnk %startmenu%\xp antivirus 2008\uninstall xp antivirus 2008.lnk xpa.exe install_v2.exe xpa2008.exe BUT since y'all are not experts it maybe hard. In that case a reinstall maybe faster. But you may want to get a portable HD and copy email files and pics to it.

Don't think its fake. I have seen them like that a couple of times over the wetlands in between Stockton and the SF Bay when they are migrating. Normally farm land in the summer and then they flood it for the winter and it becomes wetlands. Its pretty amazing to watch.

Brake Light Always ON!!
BuddyRich replied to Semi-retired's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
If the bulb is put in wrong it will look like the brake light is always on since the bike uses the headlight and taillight anytime it is running. Check the clocking on the bulb. It can be put in wrong with a little effort. -
I think the free AVG is a thing of the past now.
