I had my front nearly come off and the back one was loose. Vibration had lossened the screws and they fell out. Watch Ebay. I noticed a while back that someone was selling spare tire covers for RAV4's. Same guy had like 2 or 3 a month. Could be the same thing and not someone from the site. If its easy to remove they will steal it.

I wish it were that simple. A great many are so destructive that you'll never get to reboot. They will have wiped out the partition table or worse encrypted it. In that case there's noting to boot to.

That's a bad rear shock. Mine did the same thing.

We get these things all the time since about 1994 I think. 1. Do not send something to all your friends when you get an email saying send it to all your friends. 2. Keep you anti-virus turned on and up to date. You should also be running a firewall. 3. Install and run a Spyware removal program. Update it at least once a week. 4. If you have doubts never open an attachment you were not expecting.

Its just a Texas thing. Whole dang bike is hot by the time I stop. Glad I got that black seat recovered in light gray

To clutch, or not to clutch. THAT is the question.
BuddyRich replied to Schlepporello's topic in Safety and Education
I do about 50/50. If I'm just cruisin along then I don't use the clutch. If I really want to get going then I use it and speedshift. If its heavy traffic then I'll use it in the lower 2 gears because of all the stop and go. -

Looking for a set of RSTD's. Mine were damaged in the accident. I had a second set but I had drilled them out completely and they are too loud for me. Anybody have a set they want to sell? Or trade for a loud set of RSTD's.

When it dies try opening the gas tank. Listen for a whoosh. If its sucking in air then the vent in the cap is plugged. Also try going from normal to reserve to see if there is anything in the petcock. -

The basic clamps at the HD dealer were like 8.95 each when I bought a set a couple of years ago. -

May want to start a section " If your having trouble viewing this site" and put these fixes in it so we don't have to figure it out again in six months when it happens to someone else.

Yes

Some how or another its saying MOBILE photobucket. That's usually a cell phone using IE to look at it. I'll have to look into the fix. Try pasting this link in your IE http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/ Try these http://photobucket.com/faq?catID=3&catSelected=f&topicID=624 And try using Frefox to see if it does the same thing.

Then I'll add this. Why would mounting a CT gets its own forum. Then Don would be asked for a forum on the leveling links then mounting Avons then using flanders bars. It should just be moved to the tech section and called a day.

As far as total views this thread is 68th on the list of the site with only 35 post. Some of the post don't even pertain to a request for a feature but are about the CT. My biggest concern would be legal issues as far as a forum just for the CT. I think Don said something about that and since he is the one who would be on the wrong end of a suit its best left up to him and on that one I would go with what ever he decides. Suits stink. Would anybody be willing to cough up a thousand a head for Don's defense fund if it came to that ? Is a disclaimer enough, Gonna have to pay a lawyer right off just to find out.

Check on the inside of the lower fairings to see if its wet with gas. There's a overflow hose from the carbs that dumps out there. Maybe a stuck float.
