  1. ITS the MEMBERS. The moderators don't always agree on what should be done. And we have overridden Don a few times. Don has picked the mods from the general population of the group and gets a variety of answers from us. I can tell you I had a few posts deleted over the course of my membership here. So Who's is it ? THE MEMBERS !
  2. I will tell everyone that we don't just go around deleting threads. You have to remember that Don and the Mods are here most of the time and try to read everyrhing. But were not just reading the content. Were reading the tone. When we have to delete a thread its because its turned into personal attacks on each other. If the people were standing there talking to each other in that tone and saying those things it would get nasty real quick. Kinda of like having to call the cops because of a fight. So don't take it personal if a thread you started or posted into gets deleted. It may not have been anything you said but something that was said 2 hours later by few people who got into a heated discussion and the mods were just trying to keep it from boiling over.
  3. I swear, I ain't been in WV in the last 6 months....
  4. Actually yes. The kill switch should shut down the power to the ign system.
  5. It works good. You can also heat the ABS to 250 and form it to whatever surface your gluing so you wind up with 2 mating surfaces and no gaps. That's the trick is to have no gaps.
  6. Check the wiring going to and from the button. Also, If you have an Ohm meter disconnect the button and then measure resistance across its 2 contacts. Should be open or infinite untill you press the button then it should be nearly 0.
  7. Like Goose said. All you need is some sheet ABS and standard old ABS glue from Home Depot. The glue acts as a weld on ABS causing both parts to melt together. Same as pvc or abs pipe. Which can stand 120psi water pressure for years.
  8. Mine cracked for no apparent reason ans the dealer replaced it under warranty.
  9. No need to use high octane unless your getting a ping which you shouldn't be. Only time I used higher octane was in the midwest where I was getting some bad milage on the 85 crap. I change mine every 5 or 6k. I also use synth oil and a mobile 1 10k oil filter.
  10. Must be that CT.. Had mine to about 130 by the tach. There's about 5 miles of straight flat road on Hiway 12 out by Travis AFB. Took it as fast as it would go. once she was over 120 on the speedo the tach was slow to get more revs up in 5th. I didn't have the speedohealer then but it was around 5900 rpms when I backed off. No shake or anything on mine.
  11. That's HollyWeird now.

  19. Find a different dealer. Many of us here have had all theses issues fixed under warranty.
  20. Same thing I did. The holes are way to small to really be of any help. Now if someone would just build some boots joined together this thing would be dangerous.
  21. Been in property management for the last 20 years. I hate HOA's . As if people aint got enough to do but worry about what everybody else's place looks like. They are like a bunch of kids telling on one another when they are in their board meetings. Good luck . I won't rent again unless I have to because of health reason's or as a temporary thing.
  22. Put 48k on my 05 with only the whine/chirp. It doesn't bother me. No major problems. I had greased my rear end before it started clicking though.
  23. Dan, Save your money till next year and get the new RSV with that 1800 cc engine. Then you'll be able to keep up with everybody.
  24. Yea, but then you'd starve or die from your own cookin. Better keep her.
  25. I use the standard auto anti squeal on the back of the pads
