I think that custom paint jobs are nice but on my bike it would be a waste of money. I have all sorts of rock chips now. Just can't see putting 2 or 3 grand into paint only to chip and scratch it on a daily rider. Now if I had a show bike that would be different.

I think that changed to 999. It will be slow to boot if you put them all in the root directory, so create a few folders. I use an 8gb but may go back to a 4 for performance. A 2gb is fast. Number of songs depend on bit rate. 128 is Cd quality any higher is not going to show up on the Zumo plus it takes a lot more room per song.

Been thru that, 40 degrees out and she puts a fan in the window...... Wish those power surges would flatten out... Yep, Bunch of SPECIAL people on this site.

The mics and headsets for the goldwing are wired the same as the ones for the RSV. I would say your headsets are wired wrong for the RSV since the Goldwings worked correctly. You may want to buy the J&M headsets. They will work.

:rotf: YOU have a lot of photos. But no. I work on systems for a living and we see this all the time. The ROOT or the top folder, soon becomes so cluttered that its had to find anything. We also found that the way it was setup someone could rename a folder while some else was uploading into it. This could cause a lot of confusion. Right now we want anymore uploaded albums to go into the "000 Upload in Here". Then we (the mods) will move them into the organized folders. That way members won't be stepping on each others toes accidently. If changes are need to the albums just PM me and we will make the changes.

You thought you was in it knee deep b4 Dan. :rotf:

The root is the very top folder and you see all the other folders on the left. That's when you first get into the photobucket. Look at the bottom and you'll see numbers. Click on 65 and see if those are your photos. Is this one of yours ? http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/99%20Asheville%202008/?action=view¤t=AshevilleTrip08167Small.jpg

Sent you a PM. -
Theres a lot of pics in the 99 Sshville 2008 folder and there's a bunch in the root. You may want to move them from the root to the folder so you know where they are all at

Sounds like the dealer doesn't know how to work on carbs or how to keep customers. I would find another dealer and would call Yamaha for a refund for warranty work that you paid for. -
Just watch out when she come after you with that collar in one hand and the remote zapper in the other....

Go to the VR photobucket page (left column). In the upper right click Login then use Venturerider member Then create an album and up load them into that album.

You will have to run a feed up from the battery to the fairing. The Aux that's up there won't handle the load. What I did was to run a gerbings heated vest and just a heavy set of gloves. Throw a fleece shirt over the vest and you'll be toast if you turn the vest up all the way. The vest has long enough of a lead to put you connector on top of the left side cover. That way when you forget to disconnect it pull out fairly easily also.

I have heard of that. If I'm running out in the middle of the freeway I'm a lot safer letting go of the bars than anywhere else. It's really no big deal to let go of the bars for a couple few seconds. I do it a couple of times a day at least just to let my arms down. I will say this. ONCE you been down, every car, turn, hill or curve you approach with twice as much caution as you did before.I have heard of that. Dan's a lot safer now than before the accident. He's watchin twice as hard cause he remembers too.

Highway peg recomendation for a new RSV owner?
BuddyRich replied to BigBear's topic in Watering Hole
You will want to get the lower wind vents for when its hot. I use Kuryakyn Long Horns. The are adjustable in a lot of different ways. -
The Speedo is stock amber. Its probably the phone video making it look red
