  1. I got a fuse block at O'Rielys Auto parts that use 6 ATM stab in fuses for around $10 and found a ground bar at an Electrical Supply for $8. Mounted both under my seat. Hooked Ground bar to Battery. Works great, have my LED accent lites, Stebel Airhorn, extra DC outlet hooked up to it.
  2. From 04 on my Vstar in the Big Texas Toy Run
  3. I have the Nolan Ncom 3/4" helments to use with the intercom for me and my girlfriend. They are comfortable and have plenty of room inside to mount the speakers for the intercoms. Got blue color to match my bike.
  4. I call mine Bruiser because it is Black and Blue.
  5. I mailed my clutch spring to you last wednesday. No hurry, shipp whenever you get the new ones. I appreciate the time and effort youy are spending to make things right for everyone.
  6. I like my roadhouse pipes. Not too loud but sound good, not raspy.
  7. No hurry on mine either. Just ship when you get caught up. If someone needs theirs sooner that's fine with me.
  8. I got the seat nuts and saddlebag screws. Put the seat nuts on last weekend. Plan on taking the saddlebags off to clean and wax bike this weekend and will put back on with new screws. I agree these are good quality should make it much easier to remove both the seat and saddlebags. Thanks Rick Butler from me too.
  9. Just ordered 1 for 2nd Gen. Ship to name is Mark Pickett. Thanks Skydoc
  10. Just sent Paypal for a black set.
  11. Just Sent you a PayPal payment for 1.
  12. Only got a spike this year, but it's meat in the freezer. Got a 7 point last year and a 10 point the year before that.
  13. I moved mine back. Have an 07 and had to buy nuts for the back holes. I went ahead and bought longer bolts for the back 2. An inch makes a big difference in room for the passenger. My girlfriend no longer pushes on the drivers backrest.
  14. 94 Pontiac Grand Prix - daily driver, just turned 250,000, still get 27 MPG 95 Chevy 2500 Silverado - 135,000 84 Toyota pickup 4X4 - 230,000
  15. It was 10 Deg when I left for work this morning. It has warmed up to 24 now. Supposed to be down to 8 in the morning. But the good thing is back to the 50s next week, so riding here I come. Did pass a guy on a sportbike this morning. I have seen him many times and I thinks it is his only means of transportation.
  16. I got over 13000 out of my last set. The reason I replaced is I got a nail in the rear so I went ahead and replaced both front and rear. They still had probably a couple of thousands miles left. As a side note I ordered the Elite 3s back in October online. The front tire was instock but the back was backordered from the factory. I waited till Thaksgiving and they were still backorderd, kept pushing back the deliver date. Check everywhere and only dealers had in stock and wanted twice the price I could get online. I even talked to the Dunlop Reps at the Cycle World Motorcyle Show and they said production was probably getting pushed out because of the need for a different tire, thay do them in batches. I got tired of waiting and got the Avon for the rear. If you are gonna order them check to make sure they are shipping the rear now.

    cold ride

Hey Short Haul. Are you planning on riding in the Big Texas Toy Run next Sunday? I am, but I will be leaving from the Dallas location.
  18. Sounds like a Senior moment to me. I have them every now and then myself.
  19. It snowed yesterday morning for a short while in McKinney, TX. It was huge flakes. Of course melted as soon as it hit the ground. Not supposed to happen in November here.
  20. I ordered a new set of Dunlop Elite 3s for my 07 from Bike Bandit on 10/20. They had the front in stock, received it in 3 days and was very pleased. The back tire was backordered. First date they gave me was 10/30 from the factory. Then it pushed to 11/10. I was out of town last week and when I got back I checked my order and still showed back ordered. Called them Monday morning and it has now pushed to 11/20. Have a flat on the back. 13,000 miles on set with tread left, but had a peice of metal in back I removed and plugged till I get my new ones in. Got home and the tire is flat again. Aired it up and is leaking. Don't want to take a chance with it now. Called around to all the local shops, Yamaha, Honda, Power Sports, Cycle Gear, etc. No one has one in stock. Checked all the online sources, same thing. Went to the Cycle World international Motorcycle Show Sunday in Dallas, had to drive truck cause flat tire on bike. Weather was bueatiful, not happy about not rididng. Found a Dunlop rep there and he told me that size tire is not a big sellar so they are probably pushing it back to meet other tire deliveries. Anyway I called Bike Bandit back Monday morning and they had plenty of Avons in stock so I ordered one ($30 more) and it was delivered yesterday. Very happy with Bike Bandit folks willing to help any way they could and got my tire to me quick. I have a ride this Saturday that has been planned for long time and have missed riding to work for a couple of weeks when the weather was great. Also a lot of Toy Runs coming up I want to do. Just letting everyone know if you are thinking of getting a Dunlop Elite 3 you need to order now and maybe you might get it by Christmas.
  21. Good Luck to you. I gave them up 10 years ago this coming December 17th. Best thing I ever did. I smoked for almost 30 years. I feel much better and can breath much better now.
  22. What day will you be there? I plan on going Saturday 11/14/09. Taking my girlfriend and riding there if it's not raining.
  23. Have had mine for a year. Fisrt set leaked when I installed. Was factory defect. Called Tech support and they sent me a new set right away. New set works perfect. Holds same air pressure for over 2 months and then just barely drops. I am very satisfied and would definetly buy them again. Keeps same pressure in both forks and is easy to install.
  24. Got my fleece jackets monday. Really nice jacket. Fit well and the sleeves have elastic so the wind won't come up the sleeves. The collars zip up all the way too. Nice quality jacket. Thanks again Big Tom.
