Me thinks the dealer is smoking sumthin'

Those years are some of the nicest looking I think but the poorest performing models. I was looking at buying one. Decide the it would be a C5 or C6 model when I get one. The mid to late 70's was a bad time for muscle cars because of fuel prices. -
May help and it may not. This Gettin old is not for wimps. But its worth the 80 bucks to find out. I have heard a few that it did help.

Hey Rod, Have fun. Try to keep the front wheel on the ground.....

Splitting the fairing only takes about 15 minutes. Its really not that hard.

Mine is the Liquid Silver and being the same color they still don't look as good as your photoshoped version. They should be part of the trunk for a better look. And a lot bigger for functionality.

As long as the factory could get the arm rests lined up right it would look better. Getting the pinstripe right on two seperate pieces in a factory is probably a nightmare. And there's gonna be a break on the pinstripe.

The truck even braked for a second. Why he let off the brakes is a mystery.

They are trying to figure out what kind of harley you are on.

Bill, Like everyone has said. No changes other than they started installing the CD player in like 2011 models I think I read. But that's built in the system already so your design should work till they redo the RSV which everyone is hoping for in the near future.

Find something better than a 650 v-star. They are ok. But Jude had one and the steering is really a pain in the butt at low speeds. Its worse than the RSV. And its not the rider I assure you. I rode it as we were selling it and wondered how Jude put up with it all that time. It not neutral at all. Might try a Honda Shadow. They have a nice custom look. Then get yourself a set helmet radios and go riding with him on a few rides so you can point of some of the stuff you learned over the years.

Yep. In a heartbeat. Its my body that would have the problems, The bike would be fine.

I am out there too Brad. I pay 62 a month. But it's a radio with no limits. They may serve your area. Check out internetamerica..

The faster flash works fine. Actually the 1 sec flash on normal turn signals is so the incandescent bulb can reach full brightness. Takes it about a quarter second to reach full brightness and about the same amount to go (cool) off. So you wind up with a half second full bright. The LED's come up in microseconds to full brightness and the faster flash is about a half second. I have had mine all LED since about a month after I got it in 05. Never have replaced any bulbs since .

Not yet, That's on my list...lol Most of the cars have a2dp in their version of bluetooth. I know the 11 Fusion with Sync does. Jude just tells the car "Bluetooth Audio" and it switches to her phone and she's usually using pandora.
-
Use a stereo 1/8 to 1/8 male cable to your aux in (earphone on the phone)on the bike. Then buy one of my cables and you can even talk on your phone while riding. The gps Bluetooth would have to have a2dp ( I think the 785 does but not the 765)

Did you do it yourself or have someone do it? May be they put something together wrong. Don't have any idea why it would shake side to side after a tire change unless something is really wrong. Myself, I probably wouldn't ride it till I found it. No way to recover from a front wheel falling off.
-
I'd use the stock size. I found the narrower tire caused the bike to wonder a lot more on grooved pavement.

:rotf: Yea right.

This is a good versus evil thing more than it is about running over Innocent bikers as I see it.- 12 replies

You could just about get a dual channel o-scope for that. Then you just need a good HP spectrum analyzer and you could work on these bikes........ Now where did I put that old Simpson ?

I think there's a couple of members here that loan them still. I sold mine a long time ago since I only used it once and then only a few borrowed it. -
Welcome back from your strange journey . Same reason I tossed my CT. Basically it became a guessing game as to how the bike was going to handle in a long, hi speed sweeper.
