  1. That literally made me feel ill. I too know several people that are leo and I know of one for sure that would be as anal as the two in the video. This should never have gotten to this point, once they had the explanation a simple re-run of the plate would have cleared up the whole mess. Instead you have a leo that believes he is infallible ( might is right) and wasn't interested in resolving the problem, just in padding his arrest record. The officers involved should be reprimanded, retribution should consist of something along the lines of reimbursement of out of pocket expense incurred, a written apology from the commander of the hwy patrol and maybe a voucher for a dinner out. Just my 2cents
  2. Couple of suggestions then a couple of questions if you don't mind. Swap out the rubber brake lines for braided stainless steel ones, huge difference in stopping ability and they look way better than the stock lines, I also installed a back off brake light modulator and a headlight modulator, they do wonders for keeping the cagers off your rear and from turning left in front of you. Love the wheel covers, did you match drill through the spokes or drill and tap the holes one side at a time, and last question, how thick is the material? nice work. Cheers
  3. Been down a couple times but fortunately for me they didn't involve a lot of speed. Easy to say it's like riding a horse, hop back on when you get thrown etc. etc. Best advice, and remember you get what you pay for, listen to yourself and don't second guess yourself. When you're ready, you'll do it no doubts at all. Cheers Wayne
  4. Like the idea, couple things that pop out to me is ease of access to both the choke nob and the throttle adjustment nob. How were you thinking these would be mounted?
  5. We have had our spa for a quite of few years. Not sure about dealers or brands in the U.S. so can't be much help there. Ours is a plain jane, 5 seater with a lounger and 30 or 40 jets all told. Only one main pump and one circulating pump. Had to replace one heater element and a seal on the circulating pump and that's it. Make sure you get a cover included and a cover lift. We use ours winter and summer, summer time we crank the heat down and leave it around 80 so its nice to cool off in, winter she runs at 104 all winter long. Make sure you can adjust the intensity of the water coming out of the jets, sometimes if its too high you will feel a bit sore instead of relaxed when you get out. Mostly we just let the heat soak in and watch the stars ( ours is outdoors on a separate area of the deck ) and enjoy a nice glass of wine or a couple of beers. Good luck with your search
  6. I dont post often but I'm on practically everyday checking out things out soooo I'm in again, but then you already knew I would be
  7. Not a Canadian show but if you can get it or come across it Fawlty Towers is hilarious. John Cleese is brilliant in it and has a excellent supporting cast
  8. Heres a link to the DIY cruisers page on Delphi This might be what you are looking fot. http://forums.delphiforums.com/n/mb/at.asp?webtag=DIYCruisers&guid=7967874A-E599-47D3-8009-42BDA8FDCA15&frames=no
  9. Randy Quaid in Independance day Hello boys! I'm back!
  10. heres the link to their website.http://www.ultimateseats.ca/ just a note here, the bike that thye are displaying the seats on (red n black 05 td ) is mine. have had these seats on my bike since 200g and love em
  11. I picked up a "tiny tach" , couple of wraps of the lead wire around the # 1 plug and your good to go. Only downside is that there is a half second or so lag between when you blip the throttle and the readng actually shows on the tach
  12. Gotta tell ya I tried the C/t on my 05 Td and wanted the dang thing to work but I just could not get rid of a wobble at hightway speed. Adjusted ther air pressures up and down but could not find the sweet spot. Was running the bf goodrich radial T/A. ended up switching back to a bike tire. I am still thinking of giving it another whirl maybe with a different tire down the road but for now I have a "normal " tire on the rear . There was no one in the area that would attempt to mount the tire so ended up doing it myself and the radial T/A was a ***** to get to seat, ended up strapping the tire as well heating up the rubber with a heat gun and I dont even want to know what pressure it took to seat the bead but but did finally get it to seat, perhaps a kumho or something else would be easier to deal with. Bike handled fine at less than highway sppeed inckluding scraping the pegs in the corners but at hwy speeds totally different animal. Good luck with whichever route you choose to take.
  13. Hummingbird, don't get me wrong if I could've got a handle on the wobble issue the ct would have stayed. I just got tired of playing around with it, glad it worked out well for you and you don't have any wobble issues.
  14. Well all I can say is that for me it didn't work out as well as I thought it would and my going back to the mc tire was only after I got tired of playing with air pressures. Damn thing is meant to be ridden, not fartin around trying to get air pressure right so you can ride Had a nice ride earlier , rock steady with speedo on E (briefly lol) and the dyna beads worked like a charm, forgot to pay attention when mounting the tire to where I put the colored dot and didn't make a bit of difference to the balance, smooooth.
  15. Well, I had to leave the darkside, just couldn't find the sweet spot for pressure and the wobble that kicked in at around 135 km became too annoying to live with. Swapped out my ct for a d404 this morning with a couple of ounces of dyna beads for balancing and life is wobble free again!!
