You may want to rephrase that. The fuse is designed to protect the ENTIRE CIRCUIT . It should be the same size as the weakest component in the circuit. So if you have wire capable of 30 amps but the relay is only a 20 amp relay then use a 20 amp fuse. Quite often the wire can carry more than the components of the circuit.
-
The higher the current the hotter the contacts get. Best to burn out a relay than an expensive switch. Relays are cheap and that's their job.

You trust it because you went and tried it and it worked the way they said it was gonna work or it fixed the problem. So you going on a track record more or less. And after a while you know who's who. .

Dan, Here, they have the pumps marked. You have to select those pumps and then select the E15. Now on its side it does produce more power. The Fusion runs like a bat outta he%% when its running on E15. But the mileage suffers by 20%. Its a flex fuel so it can run on the E15. Smokes the tires good though...

They have been selling E-15 for over a year here at some of the Vallejo's. I won't use it.

Have Fun. Coming off a v-twin you'll need to adjust your thinking. These bikes love rpm's Wind 2nd out to 50 and then shift to 3rd and take it to 90 and you'll get feeling of what they can do

Leaning WAY OVER ? -
I don't think you can charge a gel cell or agm like that.Requires 6 or 10 amps if I remember right. I did the same thing a few years ago to my Odyssey. Had to use the charger at 6 or10 amps to get it to take a charge. Its been so long I forgot now. But it was totally dead..

All In One Good or Bad ?
BuddyRich replied to FROG MAN's topic in Computer help and tips for using this site.
Gerald, We have an account with tigegdirect. I get their kits all the time. Try to stick with the ones with Asus MB's. You'll have less trouble in the end with drivers and the quality of the MB. I usually order 4 to 6 of their AMD 6 core or 8 core cpu kits at a time. Throw them together and put win7 64bit on them.. They fly..The last few had SSD drives and the users were really happy. Since we want them saving their work on the servers for backup the 64gb was plenty for installs and boots in less than 30 seconds. Keep in mind the kits usually have the graphics built in to the MB and a fourteen year old will want to play games that nees a good graphics card. Just order your upgraded graphics card and slap it in. The ATI's will allow up to 6 monitors on certain cards.. -
Do I have a problem?
BuddyRich replied to MasterGuns's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
If I was gonna do that it would be between 3500 and 4000. That's where my tach is whenever I'm cruising. Taking off it's always going to nearly 6 or higher before shifting. Its more fun than saving gas....... -
Your got about twice what I have. I think its better than a 5 day a week daily commute 48 weeks a year.

Mines the same way. They are only balanced at idle. Once I run up the rpm's they are all different. I always thought they were suppose to do that. At idle you have plenty of room for even exhaust flow. As RPM's go up exhaust flow changes which is going to effect how much is sucked in to replace the burnt gases... Sounds good anyway don't it.... -
You go around Huggin cabinets and they'll put you in a rubber room...:rotf:With the rest of the VR members....

Just today I had my ATM stolen apparently. Probably got caught by a skimmer. The 12 thru the 16th I was in San Diego working on our Systems there (IT). Today someone used my "chkcard" for 630 at Disneyworld Anahiem . I am home in San Antonio this week. Probably an employee of someplace I used it in SD. So I'm out the 630 till transactions clear the bank and then they can refund it. You would think they could figure out I didn't get from TX to CA in the matter of a few minutes as I was using the card today a couple of different times. Hours yes, but not minutes.

I just mounted mine up under the trunk in the same place. Don't rememebr using any spacers. But its been there for about seven years now. I might better look to be sure its still there....

Need to find place to sew on patches in San Antonio
BuddyRich replied to Aimhigh's topic in Watering Hole
Hey Jim, I quit sewing on patches years ago. Get some Plumbers or Automotive Goop at Lowes or Autozone. Stuff works great. I have patches that have been on for more than 6 years and that stuff just holds them. You may want to experiment on some other material but I have all my patches gooped on... The trick is in knowing how much to use so its not all over the place but right up to the edge. You ain't getting them off but by that time the vest or jacket is gone anyway. The stuff takes a while to setup so make sure its laying flat or they will slide...Don't ask me how I know that but they will. -
Serious cornering questions tips for an experienced Rider
BuddyRich replied to muaymendez1's topic in Safety and Education
Do NOT ride beyond your comfort level. Somewhere in the dark recesses of your mind your constantly making calculations as you ride. If your mind/feelings says slow down then do it. Safety over fun is what you should be doing on the road. If you want to push it to scrapping pegs and mufflers and possibly losing it then do that on a race track somewhere. Its a lot safer for everyone that way.
