  1. Yea you've only been gone a few months and already it seems so long ago. There's still a lot of this country you haven't seen yet so that's a good excuse as any to revisit us again. Heck there's places I've never been but I'm slowly working on that. Larry
  2. Glad to hear you & Mike missed that connection with that wayward driver. It just goes to show you can never let our guard down when we're riding the bikes. Not even in the car for that matter. Congrads on your anniversary as well, wishing you both many more. Larry
  3. It's good to see Dan is improving daily, even if it's baby steps. We'll keep Dan, Rose, & family in our thoughts & prayers till he's back to his regular self. Keep the good news coming Bummer. Larry
  4. If Don hadn't renewed your membership either I or someone else would have done it for you. We're not going to let you get away this easy you know. to you. Larry
  5. She's smiling . Ya all think she has her bike now? Hope no one from the site had problems due to the weather. Larry
  6. Can the US be far behind? Interesting concept thou. Probably costs more then the paper variety but should last longer so may well be cost effective. I'm with Brad on this as well since I see so few of those 100 bills it wouldn't make a difference to me. :-( Larry
  7. Your the host Don. Do what is best for you. We'll be there regardless of date picked. Larry
  8. Good for you Gil. It's better for you to retire on your terms rather then someone elses. And ya once you get a taste of retirement and then return to work it can be tough, especialy in the summer. Larry
  9. I took out a brick chimmeny 3 years ago that wasn't being used anymore. My house is single story built in the early 40's, but we loved gaining the extra space in the kitchen. It wasn't load bearing either. Oh ya bricks came apart very easliy too. Larry
  10. Bobbie hope you have a great day Larry
  11. payment sent for 2 bells. Larry
  12. I could be persuaded to purchase a couple more since the extras I had were given away. Larry
  13. A four post car lift or perhaps a trike lift. Here's one I've been looking at -- http://www.naautoequipment.com/motorcycle-lifts.html#m1300-trike
  14. Randy go here to check out my ads -- http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showcat.php?cat=500&ppuser=161 Any questions either pm me here on the site ofr contact me thru e-mail at lskeels@wowway.com Larry
  15. Michigan has been getting a lot of those type barriers too. Much cheaper for the state then the guardrail or concrete types. Bad enough hitting one in a car but dread ever getting in contact with them in a bike accident. Don't think the outcome would be very good regardless of the gear you would have on. Larry
  16. I put the Caswell Plating epoxy stuff in my auxiliary tank when I built it as a rust preventative. Good stuff that is. Its been 2 seasons now with it in there and no problems. As you guys noted once you get rust inside its impossible to stop it unless you do a tank clean and sealing. Larry
  17. We'll miss riding with ya Gunk & Beth but at least we should see you some times during the year. That is if you're on land around here. LOL Enjoy your boat & life on the water. Larry
  18. quote: its just a dream. but hey it keeps me going. as tough as it seems right now for you you still have the right attitude as in your last sentence. Without dreams or hope life can get pretty dull in a hurry. Hang in there and if you get down too much we'll be here to lift you up. Larry
  19. Loved reading about their trip and looking at the pics. It certainly was a lot more casual period in time back then. Larry
  20. Good one Larry
  21. Hey I resemble that remark!!! Gotta admit there's some similarities thou. But I don't look that old yet. Do I fellas?? Ben that was for a good cause so do stand proud. Larry
  22. Glad to hear it all worked out for you. I do think that CC really needs to take a hard look at their shipping program. Just my Larry
  23. While that may work pretty good on occasion I'm with Monty on this one. Open flames around bike is a bad mix. I feel it's much better to use the proper tools, whether that is an electric soldering gun or a heat gun on shrink tubing. Larry
  24. Thoughts and prayers for you & family. Larry
  25. Awesome opportunity there Gary. I'm sure you & Mary will have an excellent time there. Enjoy life. Larry
