  1. I have used both types of gauges and for me the 4 gauge was easier and more accurate to use. For me the carb tune model slides would hang up causing frustrations in using it. But it is better than nothing. Fuel Vacuum Carburetor Synchronizer Carb Sync Gauge Set Tool Tuner Accuracy | eBay
  2. Great post Don. I've been to most of the rallies you've mentioned at one time or other. We've enjoyed and attended almost all of them at one time or other with some being yearly. I believe the biggest, attendance wise, was Fort Collins, Colorado with well over a 100 bikes there. We really can't say which ones are our favorites as several rallies have been attended multiple times over the years. Meeting folks here from this site is what has drawn us to these rallies as much as touring the country. While I no long own a RSV I still try to attend 1 or 2 rallies per year just to touch base with people I've met over the years. A couple rallies not mentioned we've attend was Don & Patti's (B2Dad & B2Mom) meet & great and the Root Beer Run put on by Mike & Cheri Eykamp.
  3. Don I'm happy to hear you're on the mend now that the worst of this is over. God Bless you and Eileen.
  4. Squidley is mistaken. I do still build one if requested and one on a prepaid bases. Larry

  7. Ok if you bought my lift adapter without legs then you could add the legs at a later date. You'll need to weld on the receiver part to the main frame. If you need further info send me a PM for converting what you now have. If you bought the adapter you now have from off e-bay I may not be able to convert your adapter due to different size & measurements.
  8. $30 including shipping to either USA or Canada
  9. Can't use a center stand with my jack adapter due to both using the frame tabs below the engine. You would need to remove the center stand 1st , attach the adapter then reinstall the center stand when done.
  10. Reiny I do have a couple brackets that have been started but need finishing Polishing mostly. If Don has one to offer you fine if not send me a message. Squidley I do offer some of my products but don't advertise then so only build what is asked for. Being the 2nd gens are no longer made by Mom Yamaha demand is quite low so it don't make sense to tie up material and storage space.
  11. Sorry guys I no longer make the arm rests.
  12. Happy Birthday Don Wishing you a great day and many more Birthdays to come.
  13. Prayers sent. Wishing for a speedy recovery.
  14. So sorry to hear of this. I only met Dale one time at the Wisconsin rally (forget which year) but like others here who knew him better than I, I enjoyed his company and chatting about his bike. RIP Zagger.
  15. Happy Birthday Carl. Good to know you're still survived another year. That Marca is a wise woman keeping you in line too. Bless you both.
  16. Just saw this thread so I'm hoping by now your feeling much better Don. Good news on that CV test but still be careful when out& about.
  17. Thanks guys. I've responded to everyone. Larry
  18. something ELSE I've learned in my "old" age from this group hear. Amazing
  19. Prayers for Eileen, family, and friends during her time of grief. Peace to all.
  20. The trigger pull on the one I checked was short and very smooth. impressed with it as many other makes / brands had much stiffer & long pulls. I'll be going to a gun show this weekend and see if I can score a decent deal on one.
  21. All this gun talk has gotten me a bug to get another pistol, After going to various shops and handling different makes and model I'm currently leaning towards a Smith & Wesson MP 9mm 2.0 in a 4" barrel. Don't have a 9mm thus choosing this cal. I like the grip fit & gun balance. Anyone have one of these? Pro's & Con's?
  22. I joined this site shortly after purchasing my "05" Midnight RSV. If I recall correctly that was within a week since I got the bike just before Memorial Day weekend. Current info shows Aug "06" so that date is probably after the infamous sites crash. Member #161 . It's been an awesome trip all these years riding with & meeting folks from here. Larry
  23. Enjoying read all these post of folks I know and those I haven't met. Been 5 years now without last 09 RSV Hannigan trike. Miss that ride at times but am enjoying the open air in my Slingshot. I still read most all daily postings just to keep tabs on some of those pot stirrers. They know who they are!!!!! Oh IF by chance my name happens to get drawn just pass on to the next guy. Got 2 Venture caps I wear & trying to wear out. Larry
