That vent line will go up the right side of the shock and up beside the battery box where the turn down should stop mine has a clip but a zip tye would work. http://http://www.venturerider.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=73023&stc=1&d=1354747394 right side sitting on bike

They place the feet to high and cramp you up. My idea would allow a lil bit more room and possible a lil lower.

It's not the whole system that needs cleaning just the nozzles that spray on to the windshield. Try removing them and soaking them in some Limeaway or that other stuff for removing lime deposits in your bathroom. Might even try some good ole vinegar. You can also sometimes find new Nozzles in the help section at the auto parts stores or ask for a direct OEM replacement.

What a great wife mine never finds anything on sale that great and you know wives and sales. To bad it wasn't on the clearance rack or I would be right there with you. -
Wow are you suppose to stand on your head before going for a ride You said you pulled everything sounds like you need a hitch. but seriously how did you find it. must have been rattling. Any chance you have some warranty left.

I am interested in finding a set of stock passenger floorboards for a 2nd gen venture in any useable condition. Doesn't have to have the rubber inserts. Vincent

Hagon vs Works Rear Shock
playboy replied to ablumny's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Yes it's covered. You can lay down and look under the bike and check for a wet oily mess on the shock. -
Well since the wife or I had no suggestions for each other for Christmas this year we decided we would give each other chrome for our scoot. I first thought this would be the easiest shopping season yet but oh so many decisions. I wonder if Santa will install it if I leave him a 6 pack. PS no suggestions are needed

I don't think oil is as good as it used to be seems like it used to kill the weeds faster and they stayed dead.

When I had that problem I cleaned the plugs under the fairing and all was well. I say cleaned all I did was unplug them spray with wd 40 because it was all we had at the motel and plug them back up again. I would go back in there and re check them and pay attention to the male ends to make sure no pins were broken off and stuck in the female ends. If they had never been apart I could see one of them breaking off when unplugged and remaining in the female end and easily going unnoticed.

It also has one accessory no one has mentioned ! I usually wouldn't pay more than NADA for a bike but in this case I would. The bike being a one owner, the mileage (he did ride it hasn't been sitting and rotting) all score extra points IMHO. Not sure about the trunk but as long as you get everything, I do like the look with and without it's , I think it would be a great bike once properly restored to stock ride height or 1 inch higher in the rear with leveling links. Was the front lowered also ? Other acc. Steve Wagner Grill

I haven't ever seen one. Tell us more cc size and what not. Oh and what else do you have lurking in that basement waiting on dinner here too. -
Walter Walter Walter :rotfl: My dad had a Harley 250 dirt bike made in Italy it shifted on the right rear brake on left. Kawasaki also had engines in the early John Deere Gators and now several lawn mowers. As far as motorcycles I see more and more combined brands at the same dealer when used to they were all brand specific.
