Did someone mention handgun -
Ah Ha that must be why it has 2wd sticker on the sidecar. Was wondering about the spare tire looked like it might fit either the bike or the hack. Going back and looking I see the drive shaft over to the hack KEWL

And never leave home without it. -
Curious point there Eck but I have never seen a Black Owl either

My daughters 2wd 04 CRV gets 28 mpg hwy. Great little vehicle for short trips for a long legged fella. But I would have never dreamed a Jag got that kinda mileage.
-
That was quick I don't know but it's Never even heard of that brand. So how do you pronounce it ? From the looks of some of the things like the safety cut off switch and warning sticker on the tank I would guess fairly modern.

Looks like the one I used just a different part # Thanks for posting the link.

Try looking for a 46255 Hoppy I couldn't find the one I used either. Found one on Amazon. Seemed a bit pricey though.

Hoppy 46256 is the one I used. Got it off Amazon around 20 bucks I think works great and I have LEDs on my trailer.

Maybe the P O was over stocked on Blinker Fluid

Great write up big guy maybe Yamaha does know a few things, makes me feel better about mine. 7-8 k for a 07 doesn't sound to shabby of a deal especially from a dealer. Wonder if they will sell a warranty with it. Glad you had fun.

The one Dingy posted looks like it would work compared to the pic of the original that I posted. Anyone that's has a bad 2nd gen shock laying around might remove there's and send you.

If the valve stem is still there pop off the black plastic ring and remove the whole valve stem and take it to a auto parts store to get the right size line. Shouldn't need over 12'' and trim to fit. http://http://www.venturerider.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=71619&stc=1&d=1347747359 Never mind I see that it is crimped on so what I had in mind won't work. Maybe someone who has a bad shock laying around could help.

9/11/01 I was on my way to work when the news came over the radio. As I worked outside I remember the eerie quite of the day and it took me a while to realize no planes were flying. A day of remembrance for all our fallen heroes.

I bet Motel clerks hate to see him coming in the door.

As I understand the Cheat or short cut method of adjusting the steering head. You need to loosen the top cap nut first the chrome one under the handle bars. Then tap the two nuts with the locking tabs. Yes both will turn they can't help it. When this adjustment is done per the manual you would remove the top locking nut and washer and only torque the lower nut to spec. then reinstall the other nut and locking washer. This would obviously take a lot more work just to get to them hence the short cut. But after you have tapped the two locking nuts the chrome nut under the handle bars needs to be re tightened. re read your last post and there is a rubber washer between the locking nuts if I'm reading the manual right. This is probably the gap your seeing between the nuts. I first thought you were talking about a gap under the chrome nut.

When I click on a pic in a thread it usually gets bigger but after that I don't know how to make it any bigger or if it is possible. I have seen some pics posted that were very small when enlarged but I think it was because of the size originally posted. If you can enlarge pics I would sure like to know how.

I can't believe it man time flies when your having fun but it has been well worth the 12 bucks. So where do I send the next installment. Hope this next $12 doesn't cost me like the first one did. You guys are shameless when it comes to helping someone spend money on there scoot.
