  1. the slipons muffler part does look a lot like our G1 mufflers, but I am betting that the tab isnt far enough back to line up with our bikes. (but ive been wrong so many times I cant count...lol) brian

  4. Some of the Garmin devices broadcast FM so you can listen to your music stored on the gps's sd card thru a fm location youve setup. When the gps has something to say i beleive it turns down the music and announces your route over the same preset FM channel. And just because a couple of devices pair up, it doesnt mean you can stream music or get the GPS to go thru the headest via Bluetooth. My Scala Q2 will only let phones be answered. You cannont stream music or listen to GPS via Bluetooth because the protocol used on my older version of Scala headsets wont stream. Its confusing to say the least, I would recommend before buying anything that you want to stream music, call the headset supplier and get confirmation. I set my Scala to receive the same channel that ive preset for my GPS broadcast in the FM band. I was disappointed when I couldnt use Bluetooth for music etc, but the FM works just as well for that, and any phone calls coming over Bluetooth will turn down the FM volume and allow me to take the call or listen to a received email when I use Drive Safely App or Vlingo App on my BB. brian

  7. I stumbled across this Tumleweed Houses website a while ago and really like these tiny houses that have everything a regualar house has except space. BUT, they also make a model to be towed like a trailer for people that like to travel with everything including the kitchen sink. http://www.tumbleweedhouses.com/blog/tiny-houses-in-seattle Brian

  11. Sorry guys, dont disown me, but I hated how sickly sweet the Cosby show was all the time. I liked stuff kinda halfway between Roseanne and Tim the Toolman. And once in a while a little bit of Fawlty Towers thrown in. Brian [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xnNhzgcWTk]Fawlty Towers - Don't mention the war.mpg - YouTube[/ame]

  21. In my trunk on the VR , I used kitchen drawer dividers. They interlock when crisscrossed, are easy to cut, and are designed to bend around wide corner. (and they are only a buck or two) Brian

    Step 1

Guys were riding here all weekend and its been gorgeous and sunny. Theres still a few piles of snow in the shade, but for the most part we are in the spring mode around here. I think Saskatoon had quite a lot more snow than we had throughout the winter, so Nina will see a bit more snow up there. I hope she has a good trip. BTW most years I am riding by Mar15th, last year was the first exception in years. Brian
  23. Ive got the Scala G2 units and like them a lot. Mine wont stream music via bluetooth but there is a coiled wired that I use to hookup the mp3 player. Around town I listen to the built in FM radio and I have an fm transmitter hooked to my GPs so I can pick it up thru the Scala wirelessly. I find them to work very well as an intercomm and very little wind noise. The newer Scalar Q4 let you stream music from your mp3 player with Bluetooth so youve got no cable and your distance is larger. Brian
  24. Fess up, it was probably one one night,.........but I can beleive it felt like a week if you were in Winnipeg.
