    If its not burning it then you should have a trail of oil all over something. Then trace back to the point of orgin. Check around the valve covers also. they tend to leak after a while if they have been replaced for any reason. That much oil coming out would leave something coated and then dirt should be sticking all over it by now

    I ain't had no first gens walk away from me that's for sure. They have to try real hard to get away and they are only getting away because of the rev limit. Besides we look alot better than they do.

    I just take a screwdriver of the right size and break the tit off. Then just use a regular torx bit. You don't have to worry about warranty so why not.

    Hey Don, Use Velcro... Then you won't have to unscrew it. Works good in the truck to to keep it from sliding around also.

    My Zumo decided today that it will pick an icon for me and hold it. Won't let go of it. If I push another it bounces back and forth but will just stop on one like your holding your finger on it. Tried reset ,battery removal and updating. Nothing worked yet. Anybody else seen this behavior ? I don't mean me beatin my head against the wall...

    What speed/gear are you in when you say roll the throttle. You should take 3rd to 85 at least before going to 4th for max performance or your lugging the engine

    I never let them get that far, I like taking off quick and staying on it till at least 6k. By that time most cages don't even think about it. But they will pass me later blowing the speed limit away .

    We have had dogs all our life. I hate hitting dogs but some of them chase cars and bikes and eventually they catch one. The owner knows and should not be letting that type of dog loose anyway. Going back may have made matters worse as some of those owners would have blamed you for hitting their dog. There are just some weird people in this world.
