  1. in another thread. I have had mine now for about 3 weeks and have not had the "miracle results" some of my co-workers said they had with their's. Just wondering who has them and what experiences you have. Wife says at least I'm not snoring now! I started out with the mask just over my nose, but I must sleep with my mouth open, so I had to switch to a "full face". Still cannot say I feel more refreshed when I wake up.
  2. Hi all, I am planning to convert my Motorvation Formula II to a flip nose configuration. Although I have a few ideas percolating in my head I am looking for some photos of an original factory setup. Of particular interest is the hinge mechanism details and the design of the sealing surface arrangement at the joints. This is not going to be a piece of cake, but my wife cannot climb in and out of the car as is. Any help with as much details as possible will be greatly appreciated.
  3. Today has been a bummer all the way around!! Came in for another break. Garage stuff not going well this morning. Warden walked into the bedroom and heard a noise and saw a picture starting to fall off the dresser. Tried to grab it and found herself nose to nose with a 5' blacksnake!!! I hate snakes!! Scared me and I was watching from next room!! Put my welding gloves on and took him outside!! He didn't seem to mind. I didn't care for it. I was looking for gun in headboard of bed when I first saw him. Warden may not have liked that in her new bedroom suite. What makes a blacksnake have the stripes on it? It was a blacksnake but had faint strips showing on it. When he was in dark corner first thought was Copperhead!! Now that we know our hearts are working......
  4. A man and his wife were driving home one very cold night when the wifeasks her husband to stop the car. There was a baby skunk lying at the sideof the road, and she got out to see if it was still alive. It was, and she said to her husband, "It's nearly frozen to death. Canwe take it with us, get it warm, and let it go in the morning?" He says, "O.K., get in the car with it." "Where shall I put it to get it warm?" He says, "Put it in between your legs. It's nice and warm there." "But what about the smell?" "Just hold its little nose." And then the fight started!
  5. I need a special screwdriver- torx YU-25359- to remove the "tamper resistant" screws in the covers of my carbs on my 87 venture. Any sources? I cringe at the thought of buying anything from them and you pay through the nose...and arm... Thanks!
  6. The other day I wasn't really paying attention and was getting on a freeway. Normally will go almost to redline (7500 rpm) then shift. Well, wound it up and it started to "nose over". Never had this happen before, so looked at tach and it was almost to 9700 rpm!!! Now know how tight it will wind if I have to go there again.
  7. Sooo....as I was reading the specs for that new Kawi I couldn't help but remember all those wishes expressed on this site....... So how many of you are now ready to line up wallet in hand? Not only did they seem to listen to your wishes but even surpass them in some cases, like that smart ABS that turns into conventional at low speed - must say, that sure got to me. No nose dipping at stops and no skidding...WOW!!!!! I figgure if all the reviews were putting the Nomad above HD & Victory, then this thing ought to leave them in a dust cloud! WOW, I'm excited!:happy65:
  8. Looking for a trailer to fit the RSV what size for a flat nose and what size for a V-nose, What is the differance in a V-nose and flat nose in a 5x10 or a 5x12 or for that matter 6x10 or 6x12 other then the width? I guess what I am asking is does a 5x10 v-nose have more room because of the v-nose or are the measurements still the same. It just seems like the flat nose are much cheaper. Joe
  9. Does anyone know, or have they seen figures on just how much gas is saved with a V nose trailer over a regular square front unit?
  10. Well from what I know ....Gary's sister and brother are bringing back the Mobile home and trailer and Gary himself is going in and out of consciousness and has a broken nose and ribs. They haven't told him as of yet what has happened to Leslie.

  12. I know that with as many getting old, too fat and poor sleeping guys on here, that we may have several that use the C-Pap machine. I started trying to use it about two weeks ago and I am not doing too well. Due to snoring and stopping breathing at times, I went through the sleep test and when I did go to sleep with all the monitors that I had hooked to me, I did not sleep long before I was awakened to put the mask on. I had been fitted for the one that just goes over my nose, but after going back to sleep, I was awakened to have a strap put around my head to keep my mouth shut. Now I have my own unit and have chosen the mask that goes over my nose and mouth. I am getting better at going to sleep with it on, but have yet to be able to make it thru the entire night. I usually wake up around 3am and visit the bathroom and then go back to bed. The other problem is that I sometimes wake up after I have evidently stopping breathing for some time and when I wake up with the mask on I feel like I am being smothered. And this is with the mask being pressurized. I have to convince myself to just breath deep for a few seconds to be ok. Anyway, I am looking for any suggestions or at least some encouraging words to keep this up. RandyA
