  1. one of the best and cheap refurbished or used for your needs would be a Nuvi 760 0r 765. They will do what you want and important to me they have routing which allows you to put your own route into GPS. If you get a T model it comes with lifetime traffic also. Good Luck.
  2. don't know how it is broke, but if it fits together with no piece missing you should be able to get it Tig welded reasonable. Call local weld shops and even vocational schools if you have one in your area. After weld file/grind (Dremmel)/ sand even with body and buff, good results. Good Luck
  3. Looks like a good job on the carpentry. Some work now but the way you have it setup, looks like in the future all you have to do is leave the vehicles in the driveway and it's party time. O by the way make sure you leave some space for the Ten High.
  4. No problem here with FF4 either. Working fine.
  5. When you buy spots or studs you want to get the nickel plated brass one's not the nickel plated steel. Most of the one's for sale are steel. They will rust.
  6. Nice auto, but I hope cost of gas and insurance was considered.
  7. Jactana, to get the wattage you multiply the voltage times the current (12 times 2.5) equals 30 watts for LED bulb. For current you divide voltage into wattage (55 divided by 12) equals 4.6 amps for OEM bulb.
  8. Haven't read anything yet on how the Fed's and states are going to get road and sales tax on all the electric cars coming out? Talking a tremendous amount of dollars.
  9. My choice would be A. Hope the weather is good whatever your choice.
  10. Don't let Sturgis get in the way of your plans. Was there all week in 09. Plenty of people and bikes but no traffic or eating problem's except traffic in downtown Sturgis. Still wasn't that bad. All the other town's no problem. Badlands, Blackhills, etc no traffic problems at all. Lodging, is a problem during that time but we tent camped and no problem again. Whenever you go don't forget the Badland's.
  11. I know everything today centers around the Buck but sure would like to know the logic behind this. Can't believe they won't lose money on this stupity. Would like to see some of the people who will pay $40. for one day. Unbelievable. You would think the vendor's would be upset and forget this one. ??
  12. I enjoy tea and drink a brand called Hedley's which is a ceylon tea that comes in many flavors, orange spice, lemon, Earl gray, etc. Want to have a party?
  13. Don, I got that price from a motorcycle news letter I get. Checked your info and what they quoted was average price. The Venture as we know takes one of the largest size batt. As you stated our batt. list for $186.00 spec's @ 270cca, 18a/h, 2.1lb's. If you select a smaller batt. about half our spec's (130cca, 14a/h) they list for $109.00) I agree that $186.00 is a bit to much. Hopefully the price will come down over time.
  14. Go to shoraipower.com
  15. Well you knew it was coming. The only battery talked about anymore, Lithium ion (hybrid car's, cell phones, etc.) has come to motorcycle's. For those who spend more on batteries this might be your answer. SHORAI brand Lithium ion motorcycle battery. Spec's, has two to four times service life of regular batt., hold's charge for one year without maintenance, and weight's about 1.5 pounds vs about 9.5 pound's regular batt. Interestingly it comes in military spec carbon fiber case. Cost about $130.00 If you don't like the battery you may like the ladies on the sight.SHORAI.com
  16. Thank's for sharing. Took some nerve to do this in today's world.
  17. I've had three sets of Metzler's and like the tire. I had one crack and chunk of rubber come off so I know that problem. I will say that between the dealer and Metzler I had two replaced free. Had numerous contact with Metzler and they state that the rear tire be 45 psi or more riding one up and run the maximun pressure 50 psi if your riding two up.
  18. I don't think the SD 1300 records video in HD (720). Think it's only standard 640 x 480. The ZS6 recommend is a good choice I think. I have the ZS3 and am very satisfied.
  19. Hold delivery back. New River Gorge Bridge in Fayetteville, West Virginia on October 16, 2010 from 9am-3pm EDT. About 135 mi. from Parkersburg.
  20. Puzzled? Don't know what is meant by mutual agreement with Harley to close business. Unless she just don't want to see the business period when going down the road I can't understand why she didn't sell the dealership for big bucks. One of our local dealerships sold two years ago because owner just wanted to retire. I know him well and he made out real well. Now she said I have to sell the building. Good luck.
  21. Nemo, make food up and store. I usually make 16 oz. at a time. Ratio is 4 parts water to one part sugar.(no honey etc. toxic) It's claimed they like cane over beet sugar but I've used both. I heat water to dissolve sugar. Store in refrigerator.(last at least 2 weeks) No food coloring is necessary. Feeder will attract. Mixture will ferment over time,(will get cloudy) that is why you should choose a small reservoir feeder. Feeder in shade will increase ferment time. Clean feeder every week or two, I use white vinegar. Good luck.
  22. Looks great. Are they still turn signals or brake lights or both?
  23. scarylarry, I assume you have a Nuvi 205. I assume what you were trying to do was to create your own route. There are many maps that let you do this, including a good one on the Harley site. Unfortunately your Nuvi 205 does not have this feature called routing. In the Nuvi line you will have to purchase at least a Nuvi 750 before you have this feature.
