my mother in-law has changed her admin password and now can not get in. no recovery disc, no password reset disc. I typed every combination of what she said it was that I can think of. ps. yes this is motorcycle related I gonna run over this thing with it. any ideas

I have the RSV Owner's manual in PDF format. Not sure where I got it, but I just tried to print several pages, via ADOBE 6.0, but found that printing is not allowed and the security is password protected. Anyone know the password or know how to "crack" it?

I changed my email password a few weeks ago and i have either forgotten it or it wont work now I'm usually always logged into when I get on so I haven't had to use it. Until today after the power went out. I've tried all of yahoos tips and nothing works

I just got 6 old laptops from work that they were going to trash, the one in question is a Dell Insipiron 2500 with Win 2000 pro. The person that used this computer no longer works there and it's password protected, no one know what it may be, is there any way I can get around this and reset the user and password. I don't want to do a fresh install because there are some programs i suspect on there that I want to keep and use.

Between Home and the office I probably have 30-50 online login accounts. Everything from financial,stocks,credit cards,bill payments,business mfg,to the socializing accounts and email.My question is how do you keep track of all the usernames and passwords? It would be nice to just have one or two usernames and passwords for everything but that is a No No from a security point of view.Maybe breaking them down into 5 or 6 groups say everything financial's is this username and password and bill accounts would be something else. I guess the best practice would be a separate password for everything but this would require using management software to keep track of them. The problem is I use many different computers during a weeks time and this login thing is growing. Now were being prompted for your security answers because secure websites do not recognize more then one computer. Oh yea don't forget it's time to change your password at regular intervals.What started all this rant is My Yahoo account login said the other day there had been suspicious activity on my account and I needed to change my password?I'm not a fan of those security vault programs but something has to be done. Also there is the issue of how strong is your password? I guess using something easy to remember is out?Just curious what others are doing or If you even think about it? ID theft seems to be a growing business.

Don't know what happened but MSN Explorer dumped all my favorites. All my bike sites are gone. Any way to go back and get these?? Won't let me log in as admnistrator. Says is Pass word protected and we don't have orginal password. I keep too much stuff in here need to start saving it to something. I'm lost without my favorites!! HELP!!

Could one of the moderators please reset Petes profile and then send him his password. His handle is tessa c2....but he just can't get his password to work...forgotten it. Just email it to him....using his home email which is in his profile. Thanks a bunch. We are here visiting with him now.

I have been having difficulty signing in from other computers, and tried to modify my password. Lost everything and went through the procedure of 'cant rememeber password' but it never sent me a new one. Therefore I had to register again because I could not contact anyone. Hi, I joined this site recently. I use a Macintosh computer and a program called 'Safari' when I joined and logged in. However, Safari crashes quite often on this site so I tried to used Internet Explorer. I can't sign in. It does not recognize my password. I went into Safari and changed passwords to a new one. Back to IE....same problem. Even if I say I have forgotten my password, it does not recognize my username with my email address. Why is this? Is this something on my end? Thanks.

:confused24:I tried to go into the thread "Ride Ideas" and was asked for a password to enter. I guessed that the password that I use to log onto the site was the same but I must be mistaken. Are we now starting private threads with invitation only?
