  1. Flyin, agree 100%. Had original Yuasa original for over 9 years. Replaced with Deka agm in 09 before they were even popular. Last 3 years. Because of price at wholesaler I bought another one this time using maintainer and in basement. Again , little over 3 years. Found another Yausa lead acid will see what happens. Maybe I need to try a agm for my cars even those lead acid ones been working many years for me. Yea Right
  2. It states at end that patrol was still looking for suv and they may not know what happened. That is true, but what is disturbing is the vehicles that seen what happened just keep going as it appears. Guess I shouldn't be surprised as the world is, but I am in this case.
  3. Have two Cadet mowers. One has Kohler Command engine (Good series). The other has Courage engine (Junk) Always thought Kohler was tops for lawn engines but depends on model.Common for Courage engine to develop knock as dealer told me as my had bad one. Two dealers told me that most Lawn tractors have multiple choice for engine brand as not to have supply problem. They both said the Kawasaki engine is the one to choose.
  4. I understand what happened and sorry it happened. My copy of manual also shows 87 ft pounds. From the screw size I knew that was wrong. This is a warning that I have found this error in a number of torque specs in manual. Always check the NM torque and see if they match as the NM always seems correct as in your case the NM spec is 12 which is equal to 8.7 ft pounds. Don't know if it is a blind hole but should not make a difference since screw should not of bottomed out, Try to use a scribe to turn it out. Could not be in a worse place. Good luck
  5. Sorry I gave you wrong address. Try this one. [h=3]Clutch Slave Cylinder Replacement - The Venturers - Yamaha [/h]
  6. Go to this web address for your answer, http://www.venturers.org/Tech_Library/?action=article&cat_id=002006&id=397 Good luck
  7. According to there factory dyno test they found no decrease in performance in silent mode and a 7% increase in open mode on a 105 HD.
  8. Hope everything goes well. I know you have a Good and generous heart just from your Rumballs give away. My prayers are with you and looking forward to your post on Thursday or Friday.
  9. best one I have used and tried most is 1W. Does it all.
  10. Thanks for the birthday wishes to all. Appreciate it.
  11. Thought the same thing years ago. However there are two sizes, .625 in. almost all car/truck tires and .453 in. which fits the bike tire. I can only speak for 2nd gen but guess it's same for 1st gen. Check it to be sure.
  12. Tried to call you but got your business answering machine. You probably are out of luck, only bearing I could find was left one which is common ball bearing (6304 2RS) in Cincinnati and the needle bearing (special) at Flat Out Yamaha in Indianapolis In. Let me know if I can help anyway. Good Luck
  13. Dealer is right. Ran two set's myself. Had two chunks come off one tire and talked to Metzler a number of times. If you run one up you want 45psi or more and 50psi two up. I think they are good tires. Good luck
  14. Joe, if you still want Harbor Freight they have a good air pump (item no. 69284) on sale for $26.00. all metal compressor high volume low pressure. That $10 one is a toy. Good Luck.
  15. Place I use to buy from went out of business but site below says they have what you want. One point I will make is that most places that sell these are not what you want. What they sell is chrome or nickel plate over steel. They will rust guarantee. You want chrome or nickel over brass. Most places don't tell base metal but the price will. $8 or $9 bucks for 100 is steel. This place advertises 20 for $3.56 which is a good price. They also say .5in size. Good Luck Chrome Studs for Motorcycles
  16. Agree with tx2sturgis. I also own Ruger LCR. Nice trigger pull, compact and light weight. Price will be close to $400 if you can find one. Good Luck
  17. US carburtion is where I purchase from. No problems. I will PM you with details.
  18. I have converted a number of power trowel's that had 6.5 hp Honda's on them. Easy to convert and run fine. You can buy the kit's or buy parts for less money like I did. Best price and good company is US Carburetion in Summersville WV. I would convert to Ng if you have it
  19. Yep that plate came out in 2001.
  20. That manifold as I call it has oil and water flow thru it as mentioned. I removed two of them, one with leak and other to polish. I would recommend you take it back to a dealer for repair unless you have patience with wrench. It is a pain to get off mainly because of hard oil tubes feeding top end and make sure you put some smutz on o ring type gaskets to secure placement. They are easy to move out of position putting unit back in. If not correctly installed you will have a coolant, oil mix. Again I would recommend finding a good dealer and let warranty do the work. Good Luck
  21. Good article on general tire questions. here
  22. You can polish the rotors to look plated. Like stated before no need to polish pad area as it will dull right now. It will still brake fine. Being stainless they will polish just fine, hold the shine, and no clear coat. Clear coat can be used on aluminum, copper, brass, etc. where oxidation occurs. Unless industrial clear is used standard laquer or poly will turn yellow tint and peel over time. Polishing is labor intensive (not talking shoes) especially on stainless. You have to sand them glass smooth and then I would recommend a 3/4 HP or better buffer, sissal wheel and green bar (stainless) compound. Also, wear a mask.
