  1. Both lowers on my '99 RSV are cracked. Do any of you know of these for sale? They are what I call reddish purple in color. Owen.
  2. Congratulations on your enjoyable marriage but also for your exceptionally fine description. "To the Best of Luck to you Both!"

    Brand loyalty

I have bought Stock in companies that retain their value mostly because of their famous names like: Apple (AAPL), AT&T (T), American Express (AXP), CVS Health (CVS), Dollar General (DG), Harley Davidson (HOG), Hershey (HSY), International Business Machines (IBM), Johnson & Jonson (JNJ), Coca Cola (KO), McDonalds (MCD), Microsoft (MSFT), Reynolds Tabaco (RAI) & Walmart (WMT).
  4. I recently bought a similar product called "Bondic;" The plastic shroud on the charger cord for my I-phone pulled loose from the piece which plugs into the phone, leaving about a half an inch of exposed wires. I put on a couple of drops of the liquid that comes with the kit and shone the special light on it for a couple of seconds and it sealed the wires in a beautiful clear, hard bubble. Unbelievable! Looks like a factory original. Worked fine and like magic, so now I'll look for something else to repair.
  5. I can say that I guarantee that you will be very pleased with that beautiful new Hannigan Trike. I had my '99 triked with Hannigan, 3 years ago and love it, love it. I had the extra gas tank installed, which is great, but at the very same time, reverse wasn't an option. I'm really ticked off at Hannigan because just as the reverse option came out and while the bike was still in their shop, I notified them that I wanted the reverse installed also. Here's the deal. They said that they had already installed the older type gas tank, which wouldn't work with the reverse set up, and now it would cost me additional money (quite a lot) to remove that tank plus the cost of the newly designed tank. I thought that was a poor decision. Had they agreed to exchange tanks, I would also have added the running boards, which I think look great on your Trike. So, I do wish I had the reverse and running boards - I can't believe they did this to me!
  6. A beautiful morning, so got on the Trike and first went to Menards and bought 2 tee shirts, on sale. Then after cruising the Interstate for a few miles, I went out to a local "look out point" called "Louis & Clark Monument." From that high Memorial spot I could see the Interstate 29 traffic for several miles, going both North and South, plus watching planes on the entire landing strips of Eppley Airport in North Omaha. What a view!
  7. Hey, most of you guys are just kids! I cruise the highways (like just today) between 60 and 100 miles, 2 or 3 times a week on my Trike. Really a relaxing pastime. I'll be 83 next month, but feel at least 20 years younger on that Trike. It's my second Love. The wife comes as first and then I added a third love this week; a 2015 Honda CRV EXL. Just having fun while young!
  8. I once had an 18' Inboard, Outboard boat and pulled it with my one ton Ford pickup. My son had a Jeep (like the army type) and he wanted to see how it performed while pulling a boat. It did fine on the road and launched the boat OK. Now, he figured that with a 4 wheel drive, it would be a cinch to get the boat out of the water and back up the ramp, even though it was a light weight vehicle. But, instead of all 4 wheels pulling, just 2 opposite wheels would just spin on the wet ramp. Some of us had to help push it up the ramp. Didn't take him too long to sell that Jeep.
  9. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN GUILTY OF LOOKING AT OTHERS YOUR OWN AGE AND THINKING; SURELY I CAN'T LOOK THAT OLD? My name is Alice, and I was sitting in the waiting room for my first appointment with my new Dentist. Looking around the room, I noticed his DDS Diploma on the wall. It bore his full name. Suddenly, I remembered a tall, handsome, dark-haired boy with the same name that had been in my high school class some 47 odd years ago. I wondered, could he be the same guy that I had a secret crush on, way back then? However, upon seeing him, I quickly discarded any such thought. This balding, gray-haired man, with deeply lined face, was too old to have been my classmate. After he had examined my teeth, I asked him is he had attended Morgan Park High School. "Yes. Yes I did. I am a Mustang!" he gleamed with pride. "Well, what year did you graduate?" I asked. He answered, "In 1968. Why is it that you ask?" "Oh my, you were in my class!", I exclaimed. He looked at me closely. Then, that Ugly, Old, Bald, Wrinkled-faced, Fat-assed, Gray-haired, Decrepit, S-O-B said; "Wow, what class did you Teach????
  10. I've had my share of back problems, but nothing as severe as yours. I feel really sorry for you and here's wishing you the very best of luck getting the problem corrected. God Bless!
  11. I would like to suggest a set of arm rests for the bike.
  12. Didn't think of this Trike as being big, but waxing the whole unit about killed me off. Sure does shine now though. Think it'll get better gas mileage since it'll slip easier through the air? Ha!
  13. That wasn't very nice of you SilvrT. He was just asking for advice!
  14. It's been quite awhile, but as I remember, I had to lift the weight of the bike with the jack and then the weight of the front end seemed to just fall down in place. Good luck to you.
  15. All is fine now. I just restarted the computer. Something must have been messed up.
