    I talked to my insurance company and they just added the trailer to my bike policy at no extra charge. Just had to provide them with the s/n and info so they could add. Like you say worth having it on there in case of a mishap! Keith

    Has anyone replaced the lid supports on a Piggybacker? Mine has those flat metal strips that are not too stable. I was thinking of getting some of those hood supports.....same as the ones on a truck cap door. Or did they have them on there before and were trouble? Just looking for a winter project....     When I had my replacement rims & tires come from Piggybacker all 3 had 32lbs in them....so I left them alone.I went on a 3600 km trip and had no problem what so ever. Keith

    I have a heater like the picture below. Does a good job of heating up my 20x24 garage in a short time. Uses a 20lb propane tank and has a blower.......a bit loud and yes I leave the door open a tad for air. On sale @ Princess Auto for $119 I believe. Keith

    So is it a good idea to leave the battery in the bike? The reason I ask is cause that is what I did last year with a tender on and I needed a new battery this spring. I had always removed it but last winter I didn't. It may just be a coincidence but debating what I should do this year? Any Thoughts ? Keith

    Piggybacker replaced my chrome rims with Alloy because of a bad shimmy problem...they were 12" - 4 bolt. Not sure if they offer them in 8" Keith
