    Inspiration

The XS1100 is a good ride, with strong electric motor type power. They pull hard from 2000 RPMs to red line. All of this you aready know!!! Earl:big-grin-emoticon:

  8. You are right and I would say that looks normal for 23 K. Make sure you are not over filling the engine with oil, about half way the sight glass is good. Earl:thumbsup:

    Federal tire

I tried to air up my Federal tire with it standing up. The wheel would drop down into the tire (not centered) and it would not seat to the wheel. I laid the wheel and tire on a barrel (horizontal) pushed the lower side of the tire down onto the wheel. This centered the tire on the wheel. I then used a band around the tire to help to get it to bead to the wheel. It only took about 75 PSI to seat the tire to the wheel. Earl

  18. It sounds more like an electrical issue to me. If it will not restart, check for spark at spark plugs. If there is not spark, check main and ignition fuses connections, check wiring connections at the ignition switch, engine stop switch, neutral switch, and starting circuit cutoff relay. With the engine running, you may try moving the wires (wiggle test) of all the connections. Earl 86 VR 00 RSV
  19. I THINK the starting circuit cut-off relay (fuel pump relay are one and the same) and I think it is behind the left side cover. I hope this helps. Earl 86 VR 00 RSV
