If it seems to be a regular occurrence I might stop by the agency and report it. They might set up some "selective" enforcement in the area. I personally know LEO's who have targeted that violation.

Received the cooler rack the other day. Now if I could get some suggestions on a hitch for a Wing since I'll be picking up my new to me 2008 with 900 miles on it this saturday. Started a new thread for hitch suggestions, 42 lookies but no suggestions. Would like to order a hitch in the next day or so. That way could receive and install it before next weekend. Thanks, Jim

I have a Venture Dad hitch on my RSV and satisfied with it. Need some suggestions for a hitch to put on my soon to be 2008 wing. Also some suggestion for hy-way pegs, keeping in mind I'm vertically challenged (29" inseam). Trying to keep costs down but quality up.

My buddy has an 2010 HD Classic. We live in the same insurance zone. He pays more than twice what I do on my 07 RSV. I gave him my agents #

What pads would be recommended here?

the stuff that's put on dirt roads to hold the dust down. It used to be oil but now there is an environmentally friendly stuff. Just don't know what it is.

Was just at WingStuff looking at the cooler racks. gonna hve to get one for the ride to MidRSV's Memorial day run. Will have to add lights though, the bag will block the RSV rear lighting. I'm thinking of making a couple of brackets to put a set of trailer lights on and plug into my trailer harness.

I also agree, "Monser" is way overpriced. kinda like HD.

Leave that toy at home

Just light a match at the filler neck, that will expand it back into shape.

If you're planning to use this on the lift adaptor the arms are too short. I bought this and had to take it back and get the ugly yellow one.

You have my deepest sympathy. No, really you do. I'm not single but I know where you're coming from. Just for example. I lay my coat on the couch in the living room, the room that no one uses. I do that because I leave for work @ 0330 and it's much simpler to grab it off the couch than to fumble throgh the closet at 0330. Sure enough 1-2 times a week I feel up the couch lookin' for my coat not there. Turn on the lights and filter through the closet and there it is, BINGO.

The plastic chrome ring around my front turn signal split, do you think this stuff would "weld" it together?

I'm looking and thinking about it. -
EVO 4G here. When my employer offered a spiff to get my own phone I thought I,d get the new Blackberry flip. NO GO they said, no active sync. The company would have to invest thousands in Blackberry's proprietary software to handle email securely. I said OK and ended up with the EVO. My only complaint would be it's a little uncomfortable on the ear, but that would be the same with any "slab" phone.

If I lived another 400 miles south I would do it.

I've been told " you're always trying to be a comedian, it's just not workin' for ya." I guess that's why I have a day job. This is the best group of helpful, funny, sincere, BS'in people I've ever had the pleasure of being associated with. Proud to be a member.

I went to Sonic 1.2's last spring (no pun intended) and used a combination of the tech manual you can find where to DL on here and a Clymer manual. I also used Rick Butler's post here http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=19608&highlight=sonic+springs as I used the same springs. A great improvement. I got thru it pretty easily. I also upped the oil weight as previously suggested. An important note is to make sure you have each leg of the forks at the same height in the triple tree. I did this by measuring from the top of the lower tree to the line created by where the fork and cap meet. Here's a couple of pics of what you might expect to be into. Best of luck and remember there's always help here.
