OK, going on our 3rd week here. Getting things fixed up, resolving a couple of problems and trying to get shelter for the bike squared away. We've been able to get out a bit, but most of the time has been spent working on the property and house. Buddy's been a big help and I try not to hurt him too much. Anyone wanna come visit, the coffee is on.

Im still working on a buddys 99 venture. Im trying to locate the fuse for the acc socket in the fairing. The book says lower right. have not been able to find it. Did they put that in the fairing? -
Damnit. I did my buddys clucth with the parts from shydoc_17 and all went well. . Well 2 weeks later I was riding my bike to my sister in laws house and the dang thing slipped in 5th gear while trying to pass, then again in 3rd gear but only when at high speed and trying to gain more speed at high rpm. I can take off from a light and blast through the gears with no problem. COme to think of it i just changed my oil to 20-50 valvoline MC oil.Whats going on?? Guess I got enough practice on his bike and now time to do my own.

hey everybody i need some help please i have a 2003 midnight venture with 87000 kl on it and i am the original owner. it vibrates when i cranck it in 3,4,5 gear . now im pretty sure that it could be the u joint on it but some other buddys have a difference of opinion on this as they say my carbs need to be sinked. so lets take a poll carbs or u joint

Hi All Just got the word that my ex wife went down on a curve last weekend. She has 3 broken ribs and the bike is in tough shape also. Her boy frend stayed with the bike then when to dinner with some buddys while she was in the hospital. When I hear of true love like that it brings a tear to my eye. Bull463

Well Just got off the phone with Buddy. His Goldwing is on its way out the drive and will be officially on its way to Sherman Illinois by Sunday 3/15 and the RoadKill Racer will be headed to Oklahoma. We came to an agreement and we are trading, or course with some $$ in his pocket. Hopefully Peg will be able to keep him at home OR riding a little more. I'm both excited and sad. My 2003 has never given me any trouble beyond the usual, but he should be good to go. All the standard things have already happened and been fixed. We plan to meet in Springfield, MO on Saturday and then both head home on Sunday. Unless you guys kick me out I plan to hang around and cause more trouble :whistling:and attend as many get togethers as I can get to. I'll post some pictures as soon as I can until then here is Buddy's picture.
