He sees, you want to get this resolved quickly, to salvage some of the riding season and he is using it against you. Went by there twice, both times on turnpike, there were alot of bikes out!! I am thinking about running out for a day, maybe friday if I can get out of work? See what happens as it gets closer. Craig

Dave, tell them you want the bike replaced with a bike that is in the same condition yours was in before crash. He is definetly lowballing you, I just sold my 87 for around $3300.00 and I think I could have easily gotten more. I went thru the same thing with my 85 suzuki, a lady ran into me and wrecked it big time, book value was 1700 thats what they offered, I told them I wanted it replaced and if they could do it for 1700 great. 3 months later I got a check for 4200 which more than covered the cost to repair it. Seneca Rocks is North of there, pretty neat area, worth the trip. West on 15 towards Webster springs nice twistie road be careful. You could head over toward Skids area. Sounds like you have been to most of the good spots. Just enjoy the beautiful roads. Craig

We spent the weekend on a nice ride thru the So. West corner of Pa. Anyone thinking of riding Pa ought to give this area some consideration. Took 30 west from Chambersburg out thru Laurel Highlands area, passed a few 1st gens and met 2 2nd gens at a gas station. Rt 31 is a great road as is 711 and 381. We payed our respects at the 9-11 memorial in Shanksville, it is a "moving" experience. Spent the nite at a country Inn in Ligoneer, great little rest. and pub rite on the premises. Woke up this am. had the included buffet breakfast, then headed home. Great motorcycle roads, beautiful scenery, plenty of places to stop, but no DQ:bawling:Oh yeah a friend and his wife rode along on their brand new HD street glide, nice bike! Guess which one had parts falling off?? Nope it was me, lost my shiney chrome choke knob:bawling: Craig

Dave, really sorry to hear about this, I cant imagine anyone of us that was staying at the hotel would do this. You can hook me up to the "machine" anytime, It wasnt me, but I am gonna go check the screws on mine cause I did travel that Pa. turnpike. Man I hope there is another explaination for this. Craig
