Is anyone planing on attending this ride that has not signed up on the events calendar? I need to know so we can adjust the reservations for breakfast and dinner.

Hello Everyone: My wife and I are still hoping to attend the rally later next week. We still have reservations in Custer on the 11th 12th and 13th. But may be relocating to a house in Sturgis?? I have also been invited to ride up this Saturday, overnight Saturday, Meet A.B.A.T.E friends at the American Legion in Sturgis?? for breakfast Sunday morning and ride back on Sunday. I hope to stay in the new found house this Saturday to look it over before I commit to changing my motel reservations. Maybe I will see some of you? Take care everyone.

going to pick the dates for the hub meet next year. remember this is not the international rally. july and august are out, too hot! need some ideas on this, the majority may rule. we had a great time at the international this year ,so i have decided to do it again. it will be a no frills meet, a just come down let your hair down and relaxed get together. i need to get a date set so i can contact randll at the hub, so we can secure the motel reservations. they have other groups lined up. randall will take care of our group. i know it is early but i want everyone to have plenty o notice so they can plan ahead and make reservations. so give me some kick back. thanks, bill

I was thinking about all of us going out to eat on saturday evening. There's the Berliner Kindl German Restaurant in Black Mountain. So if anyone is interested let me know and then I can make reservations for how ever many of us there will be. We'd probably have to get there by about 6 since they close at 8 on saturday's. Margaret

Well, Eileen and I were on and off about going anywhere this week. We finally decided yesterday that we would go. I spend Saturday cleaning the bike, cleaning and re-oiling the air filters, etc. Made reservations last night near Seneca Rocks, WV and thought that would be a nice place to spend a week. Woke up this morning and wasn't feeling well at all. I tried to push through it. Got the trailer hooked up, got everything all packed, took care of some last minute things around here and then try as I might, I just couldn't deny the fact that I was not feeling well enough to go. I did something to my left foot yesterday while working in the yard. Can barely walk today. Also have some type of virus or something and spending a LOT of time visiting the toilet. Finally admitted to Eileen that I was sick and then canceled the hotel reservations in WV. So, I slept for about 7 hours today and I THINK I'm feeling a bit better. Foot still hurts but I think I can balance the bike OK with it when I stop. We are going to try again tomorrow to at least get aways somewhere....probably somewhere closer but just get away.

Ok I talked to Cindy the owner of Edelweiss Inn this moring and made our reservations for Sept. 2008 10-13 . She put a block on 7 rooms on back side ground floor for us ventureriders, If we need More thats no problem but it is wize to book early. Dead line is June 30 2008. Peg & I will stay in the front side in room 106 for 4 days at the end of the hotel able to lock up our trailer to the fence there and easy to access so other members if need be can lock their trailers there to, may hold 4 trailers along the fence. Tell Cindy you are a venturerider.org family memeber and get the discount rates by email or phone when making your reservations. Need to cancel reservation? needs to be within three days of reservation by phone to avoid a one night fee. I just checked the website for the Oberlin Inn for maintenace day and it shows nothing available for June 6-8. Anyone have reservations yet? If so where are you planning to stay?
