Beautiful day today so I played hookie and decided to go for a ride, contacted one of our members, "Pilot" from Delaware and asked if he would be interested in getting together for lunch, he said he was free, so I headed the 130 miles to our meeting point. I had originally planned on treating him to lunch at a rest. but once I got down there he insisted on taking me back to his place and he fired up the grill, we sat around and swapped the bull had a great lunch and then he rode about an hr north with me on my ride home. Jim is a great guy and his wife treated me like family, it just amazes me how friendly the people are on this site, Arent alot of places in this world where you can contact a person you never met, get together for lunch swap a few stories and feel as though you connected. Thanks again Jim for your hospitality, and thanks Don for starting this group. Geez 20 more years of this, and I could be Lowell Jr. Craig

Yep it was muffinman, he was trying to see if it was causing B2dad's poor gas mileage, wonder if anyone noticed a big improvement in mileage? Craig

Lowering kit on rear, move forks up 1in in front, cut seat down and narrow, or corbin seat, boots with thick soles and heels, that ought to get you a bit more comfortable, I am only 5'5" still have my bike completely stock, only problems I have are loose gravel, and backing up:whistling: You can adapt to it. Craig

Yep you are a very lucky guy, Eileen is a real sport to go along with that party, and Dylan is a just plain good Kid! I was really impressed with him last year, and had a chance to kid around with him alittle more this year, count your blessings, and take them both out for a nice dinner this weekend, maybe a Taste of Morrocco:rotf: Craig

Yep I can vouch for both of em, well deserved promotions, they would be an asset to any organization, Thanks Guys. Craig

On the trip out to Dons, all turnpike cruise set at 70 so probably an actual 63 mph, riding 2 up and loaded got 50 mpg on the first tank, eastern Pa, pretty flat, got 44-46 rest of the trip. Cant complain about that:cool10: Craig

Great to hear your talk with the Drs got them moving in the rite direction, really hoping things start improving for your wife. Take care of yourself as well. All the best, Craig

Well Don, I think you, your wife and Dylan deserve all the thanks, and Lonna of course for the great deserts! It was a great event and you and your family did all that could be done to host it. Everything was awesome. I think instead of trying to do more work????? Folks should limit their expectations to smaller easier fixes so that you, brad, Vgoose, Hippy and muffinman have more time to relax a bit and enjoy yourselves. Maybe a little more consulting and explaining and alot less sweating and knuckle busting. Just my 2 cents, but you guys deserve a break as much if not more than us slackers:rotf: A sincere Thank You, Craig

Yep we missed you guys, but I am sure you are having a great time at the shore. Craig

Nite Dan, good seeing you again, see ya in a couple weeks:cool10: Craig
