We headed west on turnpike set cruise at 70 and we went about 150 miles or so stopped on turnpike and filled up it worked out to exactly 50 mpg you are rite it was mostly level highway a steady 70 on my speedo, probaby an actual 63. Two up and loaded. I always get 44-46 running around town, I am a pretty conservative rider dont really crack it open alot. Someone on that thread as much as called this B.S. So you can choose to believe it or not. Craig

  13. Come down along lake Erie to Erie then head east of Rt 6 stop at Kinzua Dam and Allegehney Natl. forest. Head east on 6 thru Coudersport to Wellsboro, stay over in Wellsboro neat town with old fashioned diner and gas lite street lites. Check out Blackwell hotel and Pa grand canyon while in Wellsboro, then So on 15 to Gettysburgh plenty to see there, then east on 30 thru york stop at Harley plant 30 E to Lancaster lots to see you mite even check out Intercourse and Bird in Hand:whistling: then back up thru Poconos to either 6 or head up into NY, Craig
  14. When I was up last it was paved about half way up then it was gravel, it is 2 ways but very narrow, you are only going at 20-25 mph so its not bad going up, coming down just keep it in 1st or 2nd gear. There are some steep dropoffs, with no guardrails if you are afraid of heights it mite be alittle hairy. Also if its 85 at the bottom it will be 30 at the top so make sure you have warm clothes with. It is pretty cool and really worth the trip, Whiteface mtn is another neat ride. take the elevator to the top. Craig
  15. Geez and you want us to come visit you:sick: Just kidding, hopefully this will be the last of your episodes and you will start feeling better:whistling: Take care, and heal quick. Craig

Craig
