I think you folks should be very proud of yourselves to take such a gamble of just pulling up stakes and moving on to the unknown, hoping for success, like you did. That take courage and a lot of confidence. Now, congratulations for having things finally going your way and here's wishing you the best of luck in the future. You deserve it! Owen.

I also am not a tech, but the first item that drew my attention was that you mentioned that the blower ran and sounded good. But, the blower shouldn't come on until after the flame has gotten the plenum hot enough to blow hot air. So, the item in between the thermostat and the blower (and gas valve), may be defective.

Charles, I have one listed on e-bay right now with a starting bid of $204.00. Check it out out. Should be a very good buy for someone. Thanks, Owen.

Good sets of pictures! Question! To the owner of the beautiful White Hannigan Trike, where did you get the added tail lights (or reflectors)? I would like to add those to mine and that is a perfect spot for them. Owen.

I certainly hope that this Mother can forgive herself because even though it may have been her fault, this is something that has happened to practically every one of us to unconsciously make some mistakes in traffic. Very sorry that this one had to be tragic. Our prayers for a full recovery for all of them are offered. Owen.

Well, I had laid mine down too many times and trying all the techniques, I was never able to raise it back up by myself. Hey, maybe that bottle of water hanging on the handle bars added too much weight!! Anyway, I finally gave up, this summer, and had the Hannigan factory install one of their fantastic Trike kits. Problem solved! Talk about "piece of mind," Wow! Owen.

OK, got it all done and it shifts like new again. Very nice! Also did the front brake at the same time.

Wow! You guys are one "Smart" group. And "Thanks" to you too, Brad. You make it look too easy! I'm learning though. It makes me feel good all over, more than anywhere else! Ha! Owen

But, now I have probably really dumb questions. Where is this slave cylinder located and what does it look like? Sorry!

Thanks David! Good instructions. Sounds like that will work. Got to take to boss out to dinner pretty soon now, so I'll attack that project in the morning. Man I love this forum! Owen.

OK, like the saying goes -live and learn. Now I need the process to remove the oil, to bleed the line and what oil to use for replacement.

Clutch won't competely disengage? How do I adjust the clutch pull cable? Coming to a stop and holding the clutch lever in, the bike wants to creep ahead. Sometimes this will stall the engine and then it's hard to crank over because of the low gear drag on the starter. I know it's probably an easy fix, but I need your help. Owen.

looking for a trike kit for my 2003 venture
Nemo replied to butch882's topic in Trike & Sidecar Talk
I've have only had my "Hannigan/Venture" now for just a few days, but I will say that lt is truly a the most beautiful, comfortable, enjoyable, solid and a greatest handling trike anywhere. There may be better ones, but I don't think so. I'd say the Hannigan is "Top of the line" in my opinion. It was my number one choice and I'm very proud of her! Should have done it ten years of so ago. Just do it and forget all about the dollars, which you can't take with you anyway. Owen. -
Ya Hoo, I got my Venture back Monday with the new factory installed Hannigan kit. I thought it would be a piece of cake to drive it. WRONG!!! Across the highway from their store, Nishna Valley Cycle, in Atlantic Iowa, was a short street with a culdesac at the far end. Rob & Dennis had me practice driving the Trike on this street, before I left for home. The first thing I did after starting the engine was to crank the handlebars too far to the left. Man, I thought I'd lost it right there and then put my foot down immediately. They just laughed. They got me lined up, I went across the highway, up the street to the culdesac and then that new experience came into play to get around that circle. Wow! Talk about something wierd. Well, I made it back to their parking lot okay. But, then they had to help turn me around because they wanted me to do it again. This time it felt a little better. Anyway, I made the successful 50 mile trip back home, being nervous and excited at the same time, with the wife following me in the car. Learning to water ski with my new boat, years ago, was another one of the hardest things also that I had ever tried, even though all my friends had no problem. But this Trike ride was scarrier! We did stop at a Dairy Queen in a small town in route and relaxed with an ice cream. This is a wonderful Trike and they did a beautiful job and I'm very proud of it. I'm gettingl it mastered already! A very fine product. Owen.

Enjoy you new vacation, but you'll find that you'll wonder how you ever found time to go to work, because now there seems to be so many things to complete or repair or maintain.

Just delivered my Venture to the bike shop in Atlantic Iowa to be fitted with a Hannigan Trike kit. They will take it to the Hannigan plant in Kentucky for the installation, being the week of July 9 to July 14. First, they'll send them one of the saddle bags to use for a color match. I'll have an updated report on the results next month. Yeah, just calm down, huh! Owen.

I don't have a problem with glasses - It's the hearing aids that cause me problems. Some times, if I'm not careful, as I remove the helmet a hearing aid will pop out. And that's not good. Plus, I can never get the helmet on with both aids inserted. Maybe I just need a larger helmet. Does anyone else have this problem? Owen.

Six weeks ago I ordered a new toilet on e-bay for our motorhome from T & S RV Parts for $155, and haven't received it. It was paid for from PayPal, using our bank account. I had followed up with several e-mail messages to T & S with no response. I also filed a dispute with e-bay's resolution center and still no results. Today, I called PayPal, which is close here in Omaha, and almost immediately I got an e-mail stating that a full refund has been deposited into my PayPal account. I think that is a terrific jesture and response on the part of Paypal. I've re-ordered from another vendor and also found the same unit for $140. I'm a happy camper now! PayPal has my vote! (About made a nervous wreck out of me though!) Owen.

I may need a new real wheel
Nemo replied to etcswjoe's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I'm adding a Hannigan Trike kit in July, so I'll have a rear wheel available for sale in August. -
I'm looking at a Nelson-Rigg Trike Cover #TRK-350 on E-bay. Will this cover properly fit the RS Venture with the Hannigan trike kit? Are any of you using this cover? Or is there a better suggestion? Thank You! Owen.
