Yep that is the size, but imho, i would not buy the cheapest tire, would go for at least the mid range.

Bob Let me know when you are meeting with Dave as I am also very near Sioux Falls and could meet up with a little notice! Have just got back from the Hills, spent 4 days riding, stayed at creekside campground just south of deadwood. Daryl

Try pushing fluid through it backwards, get new pump oil can and a piece of hose attach one end to oil can full of brake fluid and the other to bleeder on rear caliper, pump away till it comes out master cylinder, should work on front calipers also if air locked.

Myself, I won't worry about a 20lb difference, would still look at plugs, plug wire, vacuum leaks and timing. Do the wet compression test and see if it changes, but I doubt it will change much. Cylinder leakage test is better for finding out where it is leaking than compression test. MHO.

Changing your own tires with hand tools. -$
Holly replied to FuzzyRSTD's topic in Poor Man Tips and Fixes
All I will say is get it balanced before you put it back on. Dots mean nothing. -
Went and bought a jack from Northern tool, Torin, has a valve to turn that allows you to vary the rate as slow or fast as you want, not a preset value like that harbor freight scrap.
-
Bought one 2 years ago, have retired it to scrap, did not like the lowering options, fast or faster.
-
No I do not put them on front Thanks for the info

Fuzzy The main reason for me is economic, $55 vs $150, hopefully many more miles, and to me, mc tires do not have enough of a tread pattern to run safely in the rain. So far what I have found is about 90% of the time you will not know the difference. When I did lean it over for a sharper curve I did feel the tire was on it's edge, but I don't really do the "peg scraping" thing with this bike, so it should be fine for me. If I don't replace this tire with another ct, I will be looking at all the mc tires and see if I can find one with a good tread pattern.

Well I have put a few more miles on now, not near what I want to, no wobble at 100, braking feels better, and I think the speedo is closer to true now. Also put a Kenda Kruz on the front, not what I wanted but son-in-law knew I was putting it on the front so he ordered a front not the rear I asked for. Will be taking a quick trip to Albert Lea this morning to meet my son. Will know when I get back how the combo works at interstate speeds.

Well guys, got a response to the message I left on their facebook page. First the marketing director left a message back on facebook, then called me , told her the complete story. She then said it sounded like a bunch of errors on the hospital part and was going to talk to the head of the billing dept. The director of billing called me yesterday and apologized and said the bill would be considered paid in full and the collections dept would be called off. They are to send me a letter that shows the bill is paid in full also. At least some one there has some common sense and didn't think I was trying to pull a fast one. Then last night I see a news report of a woman who sued a collection agency and won a 10 million judgement against them. To bad the agency will never pay it tho. I really am thinking about a way to record phone conversations if this happens again.

Just need to give it a once over and put the mufflers and bags back on.
