  1. The first thing I would suspect would be the rear shock.
  2. If that is the rubber covered switch, it is the one that came with the lights. That's what mine came with and the standard instructions included mounting it beside the power port and which wires to tap into depending upon how you wanted them to function. The instructions did not mention a relay so most were installed without one.
  3. Yes, but the question is, can you post using the different colors and etc.? He said that he wasn't able to.
  4. Personally, I think it is BS. I've bought many tires online and have never had a local dealer refuse to install them. I take my wheels off to save money and take the wheels and new tires to the dealer. I don't use the local Yamaha dealer but he would do it. The local Honda dealer just happens to do it much cheaper and while I wait.
  5. I agree also. I have never liked the lights moved out. Not only that but I think that it increased the likelihood of your lower deflectors breaking off. They have a rubber bumper that should touch the upper fork covers. That prevents them from vibrating in the wind too much. They can still break but having the bumper touching the forks sure prolongs the life of those brackets.
  6. Sorry....I can't help you with this one. Hopefully somebody else can. I have IE and Firefox installed and use Firefox all the time. I've never tried Google Chrome.
  7. No, unfortunately nobody that I know of has done a writeup on this. I don't think that that many people have changed the springs in the RSV. I know that Rick Butler has but I don't think he took pictures.
  8. Sorry about that. It actually is automated and should have happened instantly. I think what happened is that you did it precisely during the time that we had the server trouble a few days ago. I just took care of it and you are marked as a supporting member now.
  9. No, they are a cheap copy using the ripped off design of the original provide by our very own Carbon_one.
  10. No, Eddie was doing the large patches but there was another guy, not a member, doing the flags. I have one on my bike. I'll take a picture later today but it's just a black flag with our usual logo in silver.
  11. I don't think so. I think he went out of business. I'll see if I can find a new vendor.
  12. I've not heard of anybody doing it but it sure sounds like an interesting project.
  13. Yea, it may be. You can always send him a private message here though.
  14. Actually it's only the cheaper "classic" that has the pickguard loaded pickups that you can easily swap out. This is the "standard" and has no pickguard. Seems a bit strange that the CHEAPER model has that feature but I like the finishes and etc. on this one much better.
  15. Thanks....I haven't heard anything good or bad from anybody else so I really don't know for sure. I can tell you that it is working fine from here. I'm not getting the long delays and etc. when posting.
  16. Yes they are and he is a member here. If you go to the VentureRider Classifieds and look under Vendor Members, you will see him listed there.
  17. Well my guitar trading continues. I may find exactly what I'm looking for sooner or later. I sold the Washburn electric a while back. I sold the Cort electric this week. I am now going to try a Taylor Solidbody Standard electric. I know all about Taylor guitars but not a lot about their electrics. I found a great deal on a used one so I can get my money out of it also if I decide I don't like it. It is being shipped to me so now I have to play the waiting game.
  18. Man...I've done it but it was over 25 years ago. I don't remember the details. I just know that I did it in my driveway and I had no experience with it and didn't have a problem. I wish I could help but just don't remember exactly what the process was.
  19. Do any of you see any improvement? It seems much better from here since some changes yesterday.
  20. No new snow here this morning but it is -6 F right now. Enough already.
  21. Well, I didn't mean that it would increase the capacity, the only thing that will do that is a higher output alternator. What I meant was that it would allow you to monitor individual items and switch them on and off as necessary.
  22. LOL...now THAT was funny.
  23. Actually looks pretty cool. Might come in handy for folks who are pushing the envelope of their charging capacity. http://www.webbikeworld.com/r4/dispatch-1/
  24. No, it's not just you. This has been a brutal winter all over I think. Even here in Ohio, where it's never GREAT, this one seems especially bad. I am SO looking forward to spring.
  25. We now return you to your regularly schedule program. man...what a day this has been. It all started when I woke up around 5:00 this morning to a freezing house because the gauge was stuck on the propane tank and NO....we did NOT have 40% remaining. It's gone downhill ever since.
