I agree...those are long miles for 3 days in a row. I've done one...even two days like that but three in a row and then turn right around and do the same thing coming home can be brutal. It can be done but I ride for enjoyment and really don't think I would enjoy it very much. But, if the miles don't bother you and the bike is in good shape, I wouldn't worry about the mountains and other terrain. The bike should be fine.

I hate to hear it Jeff but I sure understand. In this economy where good jobs are still hard to find, you have to do what you have to do. You know that we'll miss you. Please stay safe and know that we are here for you if you need anything.

I can sure relate to what you're saying. It wasn't too long ago that I was fairly certain that I was bullet proof. Then things happen and you realize that you only have so much time on this old earth. It caused pause in my life also. Sure makes you think about all you have done, what you have accomplished, what you have failed to accomplish and how much time is left to do so. It's sad in a way but it also makes you realize how important your friends and loved ones are.

Looks like some kind of custom home made hitch. I know it's not a Bushtec.

I saw on the news that he has retired.....AGAIN! I think he will end up going back to Green Bay for a few days though just so that he can retire as a Packer. If they will let him.

OK Charlie, I'm not going to say anything because I don't want to confuse you but here is some information on the FJR fuel filters. http://fjr1300ownersassociation.yuku.com/topic/2198

Some of you know it already but for those who aren't aware of the change. New Enough has changed their name to Motorcycle Gear. I have replaced the old newenough.com banner with the motorcyclegear.com banner. They are a great company and through your purchases, have donated several hundred dollars in gift certificates to our club and 100% of those contributions have been returned to members here in the form of raffles, prizes, etc. Please continue to select venturerider.org as your club of choice during the checkout process when you purchase from motorcyclegear.com The company has not changed. It has not sold and is not under new management. They have just changed their name to reflect the fact that they are no longer a used motorcycle garment dealer as they started out but are now a great vendor of NEW quality merchandise at great prices.

Just received an email from another person who has the same issue with this vendor. He passed along this link. http://www.okiepages.com/raynes.htm

That's OK...you can get your revenge...as long as you aren't rude about it...

I've never used one of them and am personally not a fan of half helmets but I can tell you that the Scorpion helmets get great reviews. I did a Google search on that particular model and it too gets great reviews. Some rate it as the best half helmet on the market. It does look good. I see that New Enough also sells it but the prices are about the same I think. http://www.motorcyclegear.com/browse/search?query=EXO+100 Don

I've got to be honest with you. If I had received that response, I would have been very ticked off about it. BUT....it happened to you and therefore, I have to admit that it was a teeny bit funny. That being said, I would not buy from him again if he had responded that way to me.

Alternate Fairing Broken Tab Fix

I used JB Weld on my left lower. I applied it to the inside where it had cracked. It has been there for about 6 years now and has held well and did not damage the plastic. -
That's fantastic news. I'm glad that got things corrected. I would sure settle for 20/70 in the right eye.

I really don't know of any MP3 player that can't be plugged into the auxiliary port on the RSV. Anything that has a headphone out jack can but plugged into the aux port.

You know, I was never very good at picking up on any signals from women. My wife has told me that I have no idea when a woman is flirting with me. I just assumed that they never do. I told her that if a woman was flirting with me to PLEASE let me know....judging by her response, I'm assuming that won't happen. Anyway, as bad as I am about picking up on such things...even I can read the signs in THIS story.

My son has played for about 6 years, through Junior High and High School. He never really got too excited about it though and since graduating from High School, the horn has never left it's case. Too bad. I've tried to tell him that someday he might really enjoy making music and should practice it from time to time. He really has no interest.

Hold it...that confused me. Actually...I think you are right or was it the 70's.
-
Like...far out dudes....I remember the 60's....the only time I know when brownie's actually could give you the munchies.

Many people have tried to find out but nobody ever has. Yamaha does not publish that information.

You are not thinking clearly...she DID marry me...that may be a clear sign that she wasn't completely sane to begin with.

The problem is that the accessories for these bikes have always been difficult to get. I know for a fact that since the bike was introduced in 1999, there have been more times than not that one accessory or another has been on "national back order". I have also never had much luck in finding accessories at dealers, they were always special order. I know that some of the very largest dealers did stock some but most shops never did. I don't feel that Yamaha has ever handled it very well. Don't misunderstand, I love my RSV and have no intentions of getting rid of it anytime soon. I have owned it now since May of 1999 and still haven't seen a bike that I like better. It has always been a somewhat limited model though and due to that, there was never really an aftermarket parts supply developed for it and even factory accessories have not always been readily available.

OK....I guess that you folks think that all I have to do is sit around and add every single little thing that you can come up with. The sad part is, you are pretty much right. Anyway, I added that first one but that bottom one is WAY to big to be a smilie.
